  1. I was amazed at just how much time getting married takes up

Yeah, especially since I got married in Sweden. Still, had a relaxing fortnight in the Maldives after the frenzy was over. :sun:

    Sorry to hear that :scare:

No offence taken mate, what part of Killie?

Scott Road, just off McClelland Drive. Not a bad area, just unlucky I suppose. :(

Yep, the lambo has been 199% awesome but its getting sold this weekend I think

Ah well mate, at least you've had one. Been there done that and all that....... ;)

  2. Hi folks. Just popping in to see what everyone's up to. Haven't posted on here for ages, haven't posted anywhere for ages! Surprised my logon still works. Unread posts in 380 topics!! Ha ha! Read a few then hit the mark as read button. Been a hectic few months, what with being abroad a lot, getting married, new house etc etc......

Still got Zippy. 45,000 miles now and not a single peep from him apart from a shite Bose stereo. Staggering reliability. Left it on the street for over a month there at Christmas/New Year and when I came back it started as if it had been only sitting overnight. My only incident has been when visiting friends in Kilmarnock some neds put a brick through the windscreen. End of the day, you can't calculate for that, especially in Killie (no offence Ross :p )

Anyway, hope you're all well, Happy New Year to you and welcome to all the new members!!

PS: @ Sarnie. I see you got the Lambo. Good on you mate. "Today I walked into a Lamborghini showroom in a t-shirt and flip-flops and bought a Gallardo." ............. Legendary!

  3. hi all fellow z drivers. im new to this site but i have black 350z for 2 yrs now so i know wot kept me. anyways i live in glasgow and own a black vielside 350z with titanium exhaust and some engine mods. i was wondering if anyone has any reliable source of getting a supercharger for my z. tried a few places who started giving me crap about putting a procharger and undersized pulley which will give me 600 horses which i dont believe at all. sounds like a cowboy. wouldnt trust them with my z. thanks all :teeth:

:welcome: to the forum, mate!! Nice zed you've got there. B)

  4. Whe i drove the Minim I though on a-roads and b-roads, it is just too skittish, jumping around the road all over the place... the suspension is too hard, and when you ask the Mini Dealer... they say it is a Mini , selling point and follows the classic Mini handling...

I say it is downright awfull, and a pain to drive for long periods... and the mini classic I am sure handles better than that germanic thing...

Short wheel base and lots of power, means once the error has been done, there is no time to correct it...less stability, etc...

Long Wheel base the behaviour becomes more predictable and if the back goes you have time to correct it...

Go from a high powered, front wheel drive, short wheel base, car and you will get loads of little bad habits, which you might be able to get away with a front wheel drive car... and then change to a RR wheel drive car and those little bad habits will make your driving very interesting...

Go for the Zed, ... respect it at first, and slowly and steadily push the boundary bit by bit... it will be more rewarding...

Zzzzzz.... I do so enjoy reading your truthful yet informative nuggets of gold. I imagine that I'm sitting 12,000 feet up in the Himalayas in some ancient temple, learning mystic arts from a 200 year old Buddhist monk! :) Keep up the good work!

  5. Unlucky mate, there was one for sale here that went for 70 quid a few days ago.

I'm sure there's a dealer on here who sells them at a discount too. Guys?

If not, eBay's yer best bet. Welcome by the way.
