I can honestly say Liam sorted my insurance policies out and got me more than i needed for less than what i was paying before. I never got my £125 though

If you need to sort out life insurance or any other type of insurance give him a bell...even if you do think he is dodgy

I feel odd, im not a HUGE fan, however it was him that got me into music, the first concert i went to was his 1997 gig at wembley so i think that is why.

That was a classic! I thought Schuey was a pretty good sport, although you could tell some of his answers were very well constructed with all his meda training. He didnt even flinch when Clarkson made the same person winning comments

The best dodge was when he said "My english isnt too good" His English is fantastic!

He isnt the stig, just came over with the ferrari as they wanted him to drive it round the track to get the best time.

I did the driver training with Plans Motorsports on the top gear track! I will do a write up when i can however their tip was...never buy Falcons! The tyres are terrible and lost me about 5 seconds due to bad grip, therefore they will be going very soon and toyo proxies on the way.

27 hasn't been too painful. Took the day off work, girlfriend cooked breakfast, went to cinema, missed out on a walk down memory lane to Satrosphere (the Aberdeen members will know what I mean), off out for dinner tonight then its the 'boys only' night tomorrow!!

Does anyone know anywhere that i can get the Sparco Pro Driver Shoes in the UK? Im trying to find somewhere on google but not having much luck.

 

Also, if anyone knows anywhere i can get them cheaply, that would be a bonus

My thanks to Rob as well for organising this - always a lot more effort than any one would believe...

 

My highlight was taking Zed on track at a very resonable price. Not having owned car very long this was a very quick way to find [somewhere near] it's limits.

 

It took one session to get some confidence, as the [stock] car is naturally quite 'soft' for circuit use, but once you get used to this it really is a superb 'out of the box' track car. With far more grip, sensitivity and control first impressions give (this is all relative I know but I'm comparing with a much lighter/tighter track car that hasn't got air con !!). My last of three sessions was really great fun, with less cars on the track.

I'm glad I put on at least two essential track mods the day before; nismo accelerator pedal and Ferodo front pads. The latter were smoking with the weight of the Zed - but no fade at all.

 

Thanks to Richie and Louis for your excellent company, plus Keith and Mark (my track buddy).... and the cake also went down very well.

 

(Richie - the low price Snell SA2005 helmet is a 'V2' details from IKON at 01832 293 771 or info@ikon racing.com - cost is £139.00 + £2.50 carriage !!! but you really need to try one on, it probably wont be as comfy as an Arai but it is £350 cheaper than Arais cheapest SA2005 lid - I'll be trying one soon).
