The Thing

I use a different product for the vertical bars... bought in Halfords as well, but it is something like a rubber chrome clip (i.e. U shape)... It is sold as a pack of 5 pieces of (probably) 5" length... one pack is enough for all the vertical bars… Time wise, probably 1-2 hours, depending on your patience and precisian… I started with one pack, thinking of just doing the horizontal bars, but got carried away… Like what I did though…

There are quite a few in my local Halfords... I bought the one made by HR Auto Comfort, not too sure about the quality of those Japanese makes... Two packs, and the results...

I'm standing on leg here and one leg there... I'm a regular user of both, and as with most other regular users, post once a while, made comments here and there and just trying to get the best out of both... Pay or no pay, doesn't matter much... the most important thing is which place makes me happy... Furthermore, a lot of stuff is repeated anyway... so it makes not a lot of dsifference for me to come here one day and go the other side next day... The relationship is like having two gf at the same time... obviously when the two meets, it is hell... and staying away when this happens is the best thing to do

That's the thing about the Golf, Seat etc... they are not sports car and it is only normal for them to have the need to proof the point that they can be fast... Unfortunately for them, however fast they can go, it is STILL a FAMILY car... If they want a sports car, BUY ONE... Obviously everyone here have experianced the same thing, but for me, I just ignore them and just stay at my cruising speed, just to make the point that "I'm not racing with a FAMILY car"... For once, have you seen a Ferrari or Bugatti racing a GOLF before????

Did not even try fitting it... Just change the head unit, add an amp!! Working great ever since...

All are the same, you can join one, or join them all... depending on how much time you can spare on the internet... and how fanatic you are...

Mine is with Flux... The thing about insurance brokers is that you get different quotes when you call them at different time... as they are all freelancer, you never know if you strike lucky when one needed a business badly...
