  1. One thing you want to buy when cleaning a car is a clay bar. You really wont believe the diffference in your paint the look and feel of it. Basically as said spray the detailer over a panel and rub the bar of clay of the panels, keep needing it so stays reasonably clean and keep surface moist. when done each panel dry off and repeat if paint still feels a little rough. After rub the back of your hand along the paint and feel how smooth "like glass" rub ya hand on paint before then after. Brilliant stuff
  2. pah thats only just over a 2 hour job barely broke a sweat
  3. OCD i think i do... you have to enjoy cleaning the car About a month a go i spent about 4 hours then after i finished, within 10 mins it rained. Wondeful! Example... my friends Saxo VTR before and After bare in mind this car hasn't been cleaned properly in about 6 months maybe longer. Pictures dont show how dirty it was also take into account it was a dull day and it still had a shine to it Before After

  6. I'm a megs fan and a bit of a clean freak myself here is my collection, its grown since that picture. Have to admit NXT wax is good. If i'm doing an all out clean it goes something like this Megs NXT Shampoo Megs Wheel Cleaner Megs Clay Bar and Quik Detailer (awesome stuff really recommended) Megs Scratch X if needed Megs Gold Class Paint Cleanser (stage 1) Megs Gold Class Polish (stage 2) Megs NXT Wax Poorboys Nattys Blue Wax (on top for a really wet look) Megs Window Cleaner Megs Tyre Gel If you plan something like that give yourself at least 4 hours i do it monthly except clay bar which i do every 3 months Then once i week i just Wash Wax Window Clean Then touch up with some Quik Detailer Keep on top and makes detailing very easy
  7. Hi just thought i would introdue myself I'm Dave from Stoke-on-Trent, i'm 21 and currently nearly saved enough money for a 350z. Got a reasonable insurance quote which swung my decision to get one. Have about 15k is it worth trying save the extra for a UK spec or are the imports just as good? Any problems with having an import? Anyway i'm sure i will be lending a few ears over the next couple of months Hope to hear from you soon. Dave
