you cant hear it in the car just out side half the time i cant even hear it so it maybe just me. might get nissan to take a quick look just in case

hi all just signed up to here have a quick tech question, is it nomall for the z to make a tapping noise (very quiet, only sometimes.eg, TAP 30secs later TAP 3mins later and so on) from the engine when just ticking over? i understand all the gearboxes are noisy just wondered if any1 has heard the above noise also? apart from that the v6 sound very smooth and clean Hope some1 knows what i mean oh ps, it is a jdm with only 16k in fantastic condition Best regards, Ben
