  1. For those of you that don't understand Czech the woman is saying,

It is terrible here, could you not have chosen a better place to go. You are always reading the sports newspapers. The blanket really itches, which kind of blanket did you bring. Can you not stop reading when I'm talking to you and why couldn't we have come in July.......

In an idealy world you can deflate women... In a real world it's you that has to deflate sometimes........ Fernet Stock, Men also have their days....

  2. Rob, I think I'll join you at the Thicket roundabout on Sunday morning. Would not too far out my normal route up there and is always nice to be in a convoy :drive1 . Could you PM me your number just in case I can't get the girlfriend out of bed at 5:30 :cloud9:

So you'll be the guy at the meet with the black eye hey :p

Either a black eye or a girlfriend asleep and still in her pyjamas sitting beside me!

  3. Jon, I'll leave at 6.20 and be there 6.30, just to get a start on the queues?

So see you at 6.30 at the Thicket round-a-bout?

    Done, thanks bud.

I expect to be at the gate by 8 at the latest. I hope to be there then so I can do the drivers briefing early and then get on with organising the stand.

Everyone should have my mobile number to call me if there is any issues. :)

  4. is there anyone camping on the friday night then?

if not, and if the forecast doesn't improve, might just get a room somewhere too

Was thinking about coming up on Friday night and camping the two nights. Don't know what time I'd be able to get up there by though, schools finish on Friday for the summer holidays so think it'll be busy on the motorway.

  5. Contrast with Autocar who reckon the MY07 roadster comes a distant third to the TT 2.0T (yes you read that right, not the 3.2 :scare: ) and the Z4 2.5. Admittedly, there was a lot of talk about the crappy interior but it also was criticised heavily for not being as stiff as the other two and not feeling as fast as it should with over 100bhp more than the Titty. They still love the coupe though. :D

There is a picture of the white/grey leather seats with " Other colours are avaiable. Thankfully" underneath.

He also says that you can feel the difference with the new engine with more low down torque.

  6. Just got my copy of the July edition of Top Gear through the door.

Seem to remember someone met one of the Top Gear crew who was on his way to the Nurburgring with the new 2007 Z.

The review is in this edition and the 350Z gets a fantastic review. :yahoo:

Mentions the new TT and why anyone would buy it when the 350Z is much better value for money and more exciting car.

Obviously it would be illegal for me to post the article up her but give me a shout if you'd like me to "lend you my copy of the article".............

  7. I love how hardly anyone is on here at the moment!!! THEY ARE ALL CLEANING!!!!!!!!!!! :teeth:

i know but i am having a rest at the moment i am knackered from cleaning and custard blind B)

Woohoo just finished cleaning! She sparkles again :yahoo:

Just going to pack a bag and then I'm off to Chester. Anyone meeting up for a drink?

See you all bright and early tomorrow.

  8. Just looking to see if anyone has had to replace a wing mirror yet.

Came back from my holiday and it seems that someone walking along the pavement has bumped my mirror and managed to snap it off.

Have had to replace a couple of wing mirror on my previous cars and my company car (this is London and it's going to happen!)

Really not happy when I found out the price for sorting it out. Apparently, according to the dealer, the mirror is one piece and they don't sell it in pieces. This means that if anything happens to the mirror you've got to buy the whole thing, pay for it to be painted and pay for it to be fitted (if you don't fancy taking your door apart).

Not what I was expecting! All I was expecting was sub £100 for a part of the mirror and a hour or so working out how to take the mirror apart and put it back together not a bill for over three things that!

    Anyone else experienced this?

  9. Definately up for meeting up again on the way up. 12 might be a bit to early for me thought. Need to do some serious cleaning on Saturday morning so might need a bit longer to make her shine again.

If you can make it a bit later I'll be there maybe about 3-3:30ish at the Oxford services?

Where you staying this time Stevie?

Holy sh1t! Its the man himself! I thought you'd disappeared :)

Great to see you are still alive :yahoo:

Yep still around. So you able to go a bit later or you want to go nice and early?
