All I can say is: "Ohhhh momma!" It is, as it says in my sig, proper loud. Ok, not quite as loud as my Tuscan with the carbon cans, but definitely ****-off-the-neighbours noisy. Starts off with a low down throaty grumble and builds up to a howling raspy scream at the top of the rev range. Between about 5 and 7k it sounds like a Stukka dive bombing! A bit good in other words

Well, what can I say? When I had the test drive the roads were very busy and I didn't have a proper chance to give it some beans and hear what the exhaust is really like, but now that I have... I'm feeling pretty knackered now - when you really push the car it certainly gives you a workout. Beats going to the gym Here's the first (crappy phonecam) picture:

Does help that I'm an old git - just turned 40. The policy is with Privilege and in my wife's name (she's 36) with me on it too, with 5 years NCB, both with no convictions and a nice quiet neighbourhood. My current insurers (Highway) couldn't come anywhere near this quote. Next best was Tesco @ just under £400. Still can't believe how cheap they were!

Ah, bollocks... Why make things easy when you can make them unnecessarily complicated (and expensive)? Might just stick with my bluetooth headset and leave it at that.

Is there any easy way to tell what phone cradle is fitted in the car kit? I've checked the FAQ and there are six different types, which makes buying a matching phone a bit of a gamble! I'd like to get a phone for the GT4 before I collect it on Saturday - should the dealer be able to tell me which it is from the VIN number of the car? Thanks!

Hi all, Been looking to get a new car for a while and after much reading, test driving and soul searching I've just put a deposit on a Kuro black GT4 with 12k on the clock and a DC exhaust, which I should be picking up on Saturday! There were a couple of things that needed sorting prior to collection: blistered alloys and a slightly sticky clutch pedal (at least I hope it's the pedal...), but other than that it was a good tidy car. The GT4 will be my first Jap car too. Having had mostly British cars in the past, and currently a sometimes temperamental Italian mistress, I felt it was time for a couple of years of mostly hassle-free yet still fun motoring. Looking forward to picking it up at the weekend and having a blast!
