Yeah they are a combination (looks) of those and the optional Rays that you got on the pre-06 cars. Similar spoke design, but with the little squares on and a whole lot lighter....

Welll i've just GONE AND DONE IT !!!!!

 

My local dealer was able to haggle with the guys down in Birmingham and were able to get the 54 Azure with Nismo kit up here for me and kept my trade-in price for my car the SAME !!!??? That one is still baffling me - as most of the time dealers will give one price for your car based on one vehicle and if you decide on a cheaper car then they will give you an offer of much less on your car etc. etc.

 

Anyway it's costing me hardly anything to go from my brick to a new (to me) Z and i won't have to travel to pick it up - plenty of driving to be done anyway once i get my hands on it up in the Highlands !

 

Probably be about 2 weeks for them to get it here .. now officially THE longest two weeks in history !!!!

 

So .. the next Scottish meet - when's that then !?

Btw, if it's an '06 that you got, then get down to your dealer and demand your BT adapter FOC.

If its not, then you still wanna get a BT adapter to fit the kit. Don't bother buying one of the "1976 phone" cradles......

You will find about 6,000,000 posts about this.......

Managed to circumvent the problem by shutting down the Check Point Integrity Flex progam ( temporarily ). Guess there may be a setting in there that I can play with but I have a work around until I find it....

ok but just be aware that you are opening your machine up to risk, whilst you do this. I'd reenable everytime you don't need to use the iTunes software. Additionally, they may be able to tell remotely that you machine doesn't have the software enabled so keep it to a min. Don't have it shut down all the time or you asking for trouble and might have to explain why you shut it down etc.......

Just keep to a minimum and you will probably be ok....

I think they've sussed that Kev's planning on funding his Beemer through this.

I've been quoted £252 by Dan Perkins in Slough when supplying my own oil....hmmm do they change the air filter at a P2? I have a JWT pop charger which obviously won't get changed, more money off the service?!

I got the Silkolene Pro S 5W40 from Opie Oils, £37.79 including postage. Excellent service. I'll probably be trying the Amsoil Synthetic next service though.

When you hand over the keys, tell them that you want the left over back for top ups. Then it helps you to feel better about the fact they have actually put YOUR oil in the car?

Iam sorry but the evo rally car is completly different from the road car about a few hundred thousand pounds different and if you watched top gear you would have seen the fq 340 go round the track a fraction of a second slower than the fq 400 the only place a 2 litre car is fast with a big laggy turbo is the drag strip.

If you had read my first thread properly you would have seen my bro was only running a bar and not the 1.6 bar needed to produce 380bhp and a sub 4 0-60.
