  1. I only live a few miles from NISMO350z and clearly there's another couple in the area that I would have thought would come on here.

I spotted a black one on the A329 yesterday, but since the guy actively looked the other way each time I pulled up alongside, I gave up.

    STALKER!

  2. i am looking at getting a retrim done and wasnt sure about the steering wheel, can it be done ??

if its too much of a hassle is it easy enough to swap the wheel if i get my hands on a black leather one ?

    has anyone tried it ?

perhaps there is someone close by that would like alzean inetrior rather than black ?

    thanks for looking guys

Surely you have to go for "shredded purple" - like the hulks undercrackers?

  3. that's a joke, and a bad one at that. Rick I feel for you mate, but I don't think this is uncommon... :(

The thought of all of our personal info being stored by the government (Bio ID thing) and accessed by anyone working for a "subcontractor" is scary.

I used to know someone who was a software programmer on a medical program for doctors and he could access all kinds of personal stuff :( and he's a right plank, who takes drugs and would most definitely use the info for his own benefit, financial or just nastiness. :(

  4. Just been to tescos and back and then did the tyres again - the back one has gone up a bit (warmed tyres, although I was taking it easy?)

    Let's see what tomorrow brings

  5. There is some logic in that! I didn't give this much thought and am now worrying myself that I'm going to cause a load of damage!!

Will give it a go later. Is there a way of testing if there is an air leak when it is on?

drive it, if its leaking you will know ;)

Now that just sounds dangerous!! :surrender:

Thanks Trev and Paul. Will have a go tonight. Might even do my own guide on how to retrieve screws from cylinders 2 and 5!!:blush:

Will get mine back out asap Paul.

You have a well lit garage then? Or will you be holding a pen light between your teeth?

  6. I go every year in May, it's awesome. The best bit is just being there watching all the other cars and mixing with fellow minded petty heads. I drive like miss daisy on the track and consider getting home in one piece the #1 priority.

We always stay about half an hour away (brilliant drive!) in a place called Bad Munstereiffel - lovely little town and we have lots of good natured fun there.

We chunnel it, it's a piece of **** and only expensive for the pikeys (another reason to use it)

  7. Got the old girl out of the garage to find I had a flat at the rear. A quick check all round showed:

I've pumped 'em all back up and will monitor the tyre pressures again tonight.

Anyone seen a tyre completely deflate after no use for two weeks - seems pretty unlikely to me.

Neighbour just walked passed and said "have you seen those self-tapping screws littered across the car park"

I only replaced all four tyres a couple of months ago

The tyres are now set to

  8. Actually....

By the way, a hydroplaning skid mark under braking is light colored instead of black -- the road gets a little steam cleaning. You'll see 'em occasionally on the road if you look.

who the hell hits the brake when aquaplaning!!

Are you sure that those "light coloured" (notice the correct spelling - just teasing, Tere!) is not the skid marks from the drivers undercrackers?
