  1. The most popular colour seems to be silver but probably only because its a safe bet when you come to sell it on. Red is not a particularly popular colour but life is too short - get what you want
  2. Well what I was thinking is perhaps meeting at an agreed venue and then do what I went to London for and have a "brag run" Now what you do is get given a playing card at the first location along with a map to the next (say 20 miles away) where you get given another card and another map etc etc until you have five when you find out who has the highest hand of brag!! Simple but good fun How about in few weeks time - Sunday May 21st? That or we could make it the first Sunday of any month and incorporate with with a general Jap SW meet where we could get more, depends on numbers really
  3. Hello all I've just come from Skyline ownership and the club that I was associated with was really good fun and like many other owners clubs that are around, there is lots of merchandising that is available to help promote the club, and generally make us all feel more important than perhaps we are - but either way its a nice toucha nd a nice thing to be a part of. Has this ever been discussed? I know I could get us good discounts on goodies, fleeces, shirts, stickers etc etc etc (the list is really endless) but it would be a great way to unite people and make ownership that little more special Kind regards George
  4. Hi guys, maybe its a longshot but I would like to suggest that we have a meet in the southwest. I know there is a meet first Sunday of the month at Exeter services but I was thinking maybe a Z only meet now I'm a fully fledged member. We're lucky enough to own a hotel on the Devon coast so I'll treat everyone to an ice cream if you come (places limited to 1,000!!) Hope we can sort something out, there is nothing more social than an owners club meet
  5. Maybe all the polish went to my head (I really stink and I've had a change of clothes) - but no its not he cord, its the actual flap shape itself, I'ma perfectionist, so maybe I should just shut up
  6. This is a really good show guys and gals I have a stand there this year, thousands went last year and I'm desperate to get ina helicopter ride this year - definitly one for the diaries!!!!
  7. Just picked up my 350 yesterday but gave it is first clean, vacuum, clean, wax, rub, vacuum and final wipe Noticed that the petrol flap doesn't sit very flush with the rear arch and upon closer inspection to photos on the website, it doens't look like others do too, is this a common thing or has someone walked into mine hwen open???
  8. Haven't got the car yet but I'm down for it. I don't have any mods yet, but I'm thinking that it will still help me get the most. When I do further mods will this have to be altered everytime or will the ECU adjust itself?? Where also is the rolling road? As long as its not in Newcastle put my name down
  9. Picking mine up tomorrow and I'm lucky enough to have one at 22 - just wondered if it was a car for balding old men looking to re-capture their youth or for young stallions???
  10. 10k so about average but its in immaculate conditiona and the guy selling it is nice...and I know thats not a good basis of buying a car but it makes me feel better. Can't wait until I start throwing money away at it
  11. 20.5 I picked her up for (standard car is £1k above that at trade price) - not the exact car I was looking for but at the price I could keep my money in a years time!!
  12. Well I just agreed to buy a Nissan 350z in Sunset orange with full Nismo bodykit - its not the colour I was particularly hoping for but its in amazing condition and its got the kit I want - got a set of 19s going on asap, quicker if it wasn't for this poxy holiday but there are lots of others things I have up my sleeve These are only pics I got from my phone, Tuesday should be pickup day. Nice to be here and I'm afraid taht you'll be seeing much of me cause I'm into the modding kinda scene and like to contribute as much as possible to the club and the forum HELLO AT LAST!!!
  13. I finally took the plunge and bought a Sunset yesterday, hopefully picking up on Tuesday but I'm heavily into modding and would like a place - been watching this thread forever and now all the places gone, if someone drops out then here I am
  14. well it is very interesting what has been posted here today. Test drove a coupe today and its a much better drive than the roadster and noticeably quicker. Got an Azure coming down for a look on Wednesday and I'm 95% of the way there to buying one. Just gotta test drive a noble and have a look at auction but otherwse I'm sold on them. And if I do the UTEC and mods is my first port of call Minel
  15. Interesting that you lose torque. If you modded an 05 car up to 300bhp, would you have the same losses??
  16. Managed to sell my skyline, took a record 6 hours to sell, so I'm oficially on the look out. I know the new spec car is being released this year with the same power as the GT4, is it worth waiting for? Or should just save the money and spend it on modifying the "old" one???
  17. If you had an aftermarket alarm like a clifford you can program it to do what you want
  18. They doing an offer for new cars down my way for £1200 fitted which is kinda tempting, these tom toms are all good but I HATE wires!
  19. Where do I order that bodykit from??!!??
  20. Its a fantastic kit mate, really looks special. Does the Coupe and roadster accommodate the same kits i.e. are they the same dimensions when fitting bodykits and bonnets etc?
  21. Minel Surely your car is pushing much more than 300 bhp with your setup?? Its a beautiful looking car mate, exactly what I want, what kit is it?? Says custom on your cardomain site
  22. I have just got back from a test drive!!! Took out a blue raoadster and was so so so impressed. It felt much more refined and closer to the road that my Skyline. I must be honest that I missed the turbo quite alot. I was speaking to the salesman there and the new range of Z's that they are bring out will come with what the GT4 have - 299bhp. So from there I could go air intake, zorst and a GReddy piggback ECU. Don't you just get rid of the cat - MOT schMOT!!!
  23. So how would you best inprove the power of the VQ35 DE? Are gains possible with new ECU, induction and other bits and pieces? I need a car with at least 300BHP to satisfy my male needs, closer to 380BHP would be better though
  24. Thanks for the replies Sorry to be funny but they aren't AWD, the GTRs are, single turbo ones are RWD and mine is pushing 330BHP and the moment but was going to upgrade it but little point if going to swap cars. So why get JDM, what is the difference between these and the UK cars. In terms of modding is the convertible the same shape as the coupe one and have the same parts available to mod it. I don't like the arse of the convertible, so thininking blue coupe with the white nismo wheels etc What is a good site to look at for modding bits, have looked a bit on here but not found a comprehensive one, of pictures of modded ones already in this country. This is my car I'm looking to change Thanks George
