For sale as I've decided not to put this on my 370. Stand out plate for Z owners. Even gives petrol station cashiers a laugh when they think all you do is sleep
Currently on retention until 13.10.2010 with assignment fee paid. Buyer pays all other fees (e.g. £25 Nominee Change, etc.)
If in any doubts checkout the DVLA website.
Best offer over £149 by the end of the month secures. PM me if interested.
Cheers

The white will be a bit of a mare to keep clean (mine goes to the local car wash 3 times a week!) but it is worth it cos it still makes me smile everytime I walk towards it!
you seriously trust your 370Z to a car wash - brave man. I'm quite keen on those guys in supermarket car parks with a trolley and a bucket of 50% water / 50% grit - not!
-
As far as I know, when you buy a 370Z your first years road tax is £750
How come??
As from April 2010 there is a new first year tax dependant on emissions, vehicles emitting over 255gms of CO2 per kilometre will pay £950
£950 is only for new vehicles. £435 if already registered. Better get that order in quickly

Video of old set up !
Do you have any neighbours left who are still talking to you

They definitely do grow on people, I know alot of people who have said they were not so sure about the graphics to start with but they are growing on people!
Real Marmite thing the graphics - I'd leave them off. I had a TO 350 for two years and spent half the time loving (when it was clean) and half the time hating (when I had to leave it in a car park) the colour.
Hang on, isn't the lid of Marmite yel....

...I guess that is why the 350s oil pressure gauge has morphed in to an oil temp gauge on the 370. At the NRA day I didn't see much above 105-110 after 5 laps flat out though.

Looks good. By the way does anyone know how wide the stock 19" ers are?
275/35 19s on mine, but I think the non GT/Ultimate cars are different.
-
before sarnie says it, needs spacers
Yep, I think you are right. Doesn't even look like it has 19s sometimes. Oh, well - something else for the shopping list along with a Nismo exhaust. For some reason the spacer/no spacer issue seems to me to depend on colour with white exacerbating the problem the most.

Will this buy me some time to get the real pics done???
-
Come on fella's, its light outside, GET YOUR CAMERA OUT!!!!!!!!!! We want pictures!!!!!!!!!!
+1. too right Sally think I will get in my ye olde worlde 350 with my camera and take some for Polarbear
Yeah, yeah - guilty as charged.
Been in St Petersburg all week (now I know where BMW sell all their X6s) and now it is raining. Tomorrow maybe???

I was told it was a 20 min drive on track and then a drive on roads around Silverstone.
Take a look at this post to see what the day is like...

Keys
in 370z General
oooh high tech did'nt Audi/VW have something like this abour 10 years ago and with real alloy on it not just plastic!Bit of a gimmic if you ask me just like the Start button (our 1958 Wolseley has one of those!)
...better than having a Micra key, though

Keys

Crappy pic, but you get the idea. Emergency key lives inside the fob.

Thanks polarbear and stanski - at least it is a bit more up-to-date than the 350 offeringNo idea what stanski's key is from, but my 370's is totally different (and way slicker with fake aluminium bits

So I wonder how do you get in if the fob battery goes flatA pic would be nice, if someone has one
Sorry, no pic but the intelligent key (!) has a normal key hidden away inside it. If the ik battery is totally flat than apparently putting it in to the slot in the dash will still activate the ignition. I don't want to try this late at night in the middle of nowhere.

passenger window isn't resetting properly on mine either
Have you tried the reset fix in the manual? Close door, put window fully down, put fully up and continue to hold button for +3 seconds. Worked perfectly for me

One question though, I thought the self healing paint was only on the metallic ?
-
here's a pic of the yellow without the decals (not sure on them) ordered mine today and should have it in 3 weeks...
Decals (like the owners manual, etc) are a port of entry fitment and having seen two at Westway Nissan without them I would personally leave them off. Looks like a better colour than the Temper Orange I had. Deeper and more consistent somehow with good metal to plastic matching. Time will tell if this self-healing paint is anything more than marketing hype.

Whats the overall speed differential like, does it feel hugely faster in say a straight, up to 60, through twisties, etc??
Still (ahem) running in, but I think the pickup is quicker and it is more eager to rev (VVEL perhaps?) It definitely feels more planted and less skittish than the 313 350, but then it has got loads more rubber and a wider track. ESP light is noticeable by its absence most of the time.

What colour did you go for?
Titanium Grey according to what it says below - and yes, I know TTIWWP. Hopefully the sun will shine this weekend and I can start snapping.

So, after almost 3 months of waiting I finally got to pick my new 370 up on Saturday
Westway Nissan in Oxford were very helpful and chucked in mats, a full tank of fuel and the cost of putting my plate on retention. Overall, I'm impressed so far and it's massive step-up from the 350.
Pros
- 59 plate
- faster
- lots of new toys to distract me
- 7-speed paddle-shift auto is good without being overly sharp or slack (ever driven a Alfa with selespeed )
- sharper and generally more responsive
- major interior improvement over the 350
Cons
- pax window isn't properly resetting after closing the door so back to the dealer, ho hum.
- not sure about the multi-function readout to the left of the speedo. Looks bit tacky??
- more of a GT than an out-and-out sports?
- having to eventually replace those 275/35 19s on the back
- not enough time in the country to drive it!
- still haven't gotten around to changing my signature
-
...and finally the 370Z session

...and here's the GT-R session (just try to ignore the mad giggling and the missed braking points )
