  1. I think I'll get photoshop on the go...

Blacky you're car looks awesome, you have black wheels which enables you to get away with a black lip, nothing on my car is black, the wheels will be silver :D I may go down the route in future, but not yet!

Thanks, it was silver before and had deep dish wheels and my v2 lip was black looked good imo :D

    Bit like shire's post-180-135011909337_thumb.jpg

  2. when i finaly get some new wheels i am thinking of a different colour but not to different perhaps Gunmetal grey and then with flo green callipers to match my other green bits and the Gunmetal wheels would bring out the carbon more, well thats the plan. :)

That sounds great, and it would make the black stand out more

  3. Looking very cool B)

Car is missing something though... maybe something like Irfan's roof spoiler?

Have to agree, it looks really good but needs something?

Maybe change the wheel colour as I think black on black on black is to much.

Looks aggressive and kudos for something other than Nismo v2

  4. You're kidding! If someone supplies there own motorcycle parts to me and they are wrong or faulty it's their problem not mine.

    Very strange statement.

No apparently your responsible, consumer rights law.

If you exept the job and use the parts, apparently you have to stand by the work. I was a bit suprised myself but hey check it out.

  5. If anyone one supplies parts to garage and they fit them, it will be the garage's problem if the parts go faulty.

This even applies if you were to give a garage a set of plugs to fit and later develop a missfire persay, it is still the garage's responsibility to replace them. Its the law.

So even if you were to give Nissan an engine yourself, they would still be under obligation if a problem arrose.

If Nissan are going to supplt an engine you will be fine.

Really where did you get this information from?

So you supply a set of spark plugs to us to fit and one of these plugs goes faulty , it is our problem? Maybe if they where fitted wrongly to cause damage to cause the problem but if they where fitted 100% correctly it isnt our peoblem as we didnt supply the spark plug. But if we supplied the part yes we would repace the part free of charge.

If I remember correctly it was an article in aftermarket magazine and I agree it does seem a bit strange.

However it is down to consumer rights and if you exept the job in effect you have to stand by it.

Came across it as I get asked to do a lot of jobs on 2nd hand gear, and I was talking to a mate who owns a garage

    who had read the article.

  7. Worth it would you say fella?

i dont really know as of yet....was given this by a fellow owner on here, sparky350z cheers m8,and i added the base trim but to begin with i was disapointed with the size / feel of it  ,but it has grown on me a bit. :bounce:

was going to go for the dildo style drifter knob  but this can up first.....oh misses

Felt the same about my knob, bit thin at first but after a while it grew on me and I liked the weight of it.

  8. I have one, uses original spoiler, which I've just purchased from a member on here as I still want my original spoiler in good condition, The spoiler itself is ok, it needs alot of prep, which I'm currently doin, I'm just filling in the imperfections and smoothing the whole spoiler, it's also feels slightly weak, I'm not sure if other spoilers are thicker, but to me it feels thin. But I may add a layer of filler over the whole spoiler to strengthen, and smooth it again, but it needs lots of prep before spraying to make it perfect.

Bloody hell :scare: have you not fitted it yet :p

I obviously looked at it when I first got it and did think it needed a bit of prep, more in the corners.

The rest I thought would be ok smoothed and primed and smoothed again.

Dont think it was too thin and the spoiler I actually fitted, although better quality out of the box, is no thicker.
