    WATEGATE:

Brand New High Performance 38mm External Turbosmart Wastegate.

To manage the upper-deck air pressure the turbocharger's exhaust gas flow is regulated with a wastegate that bypasses excess

Exhaust gas entering the turbocharger's turbine. This regulates the rotational speed of the turbine and the output of the compressor.

This regulates the rotational speed of the turbine and the output of the compressor. The wastegate is opened and closed by the compressed air from turbo (the upper-deck pressure) and can be raised by using a solenoid to regulate the pressure fed to the wastegate membrane.

This solenoid can be controlled by Automatic Performance Control, the engine's electronic control unit or an after market boost control computer. Another method of raising the boost pressure is through

the use of check and bleed valves to keep the pressure at the membrane lower than the pressure within the system.

  3. Not at all. You will see plenty of Skyline's Supra's Rx7's Evo's Scooby's possibly some Porker's TVR's etc as well as the saxo and civics.

Its good on most days but the 1/4 mile is too busy on Magzine days.

Plus a lot of the guys with big power cars are older as they can afford to do it. :p

You will get some neds too but its not that bad.

  4. There have been alot of posts about this on the US forums.

    Its very normal.

My old RX7 used to get realy hot above the gearbox. There eas about 6 inches between the gearbox and my arm. :scare:

  5. Thats odd may be another prob from having the mud guards off. I would disconnect it remove it and dry it out. There is a fuse map on all of the boxes to show you which 1 to pull.

  6. There is a lot of good parts and ideas going into both cars. its just not finnished tastefuly.

If the roadster was low on coilovers on a nice set of 19" volks with no spoiler it would be sweet. B)

The black one is just over kill. I loke the drop and the wheels though. Another spoiler to get rid of and std handles.
