just bought a XKR convertible ..they are really a good car
Tim, hope your purchased a suitable shirt to drive in.
Hiya Chum off course
-
i'd still take the jag over the GTR,
might not be as fast but it looks better (personal taste i know) and i prefer the jag interior (again personal taste) and i bet its less of an issue to fix out of warranty than the GTR is.
if i had the cash though i'd get the XKR S

Should get yourself a GTR Tim, or get a 370 - be great to see you straighlining the Welsh roads again with your infamous pyjama top
Hi there Colin,, a mate of mines got one, it's always on the back of a breakdown truck unfortunately a GTR by the way not a 370

see my post on my SL500..
viewtopic.php?f=21&t=26282&hilit=lancie&start=0
it cost 1000 euros in France to repair
I have moved it on now as it ended up cxosting a fortune in repair bills..it had only done less than 35k miles when I got rid..
ps the Merc Garage told me also that the roof mech is prone to faults and costs an eyewatering £12k to replace
Wow, hello stranger
Hiya Chum, how's it hanging ??

I have just ordered my new watch..
Omega Seamaster 300m in blue..
Thanks for the advice guys.
very nice
-
ALL these watches (bar possibly the B&R) are SO over the top, in your face and awfully ostentatious!
How can you take any of them seriously?
Bought myself a lovley Rado a few years ago. Subtle, plain, classic... lovely...
Nahhh ...the Rado doesn't do it for me I'm afraid, as for the ostentatious point, your driving a 350z FFS

I bought a limited edition automatic Tag Link a few years ago. Great watch in my opinion.
My (limited) advice is to buy something automatic and from a proper watch maker.
Wheres Lomoto when you need him? He's King of watches!
Hi Stew.. hope you are well and the Zed ??., Cant beat Omega's IMO.. recently bought a Planet Ocean Chronograph..very nice item

Hi All,
My Z's exhaust has just started blowing, so it's time to get a new one. I've trawled through the forums and the web looking for alternatives, and it seems that all of the really interesting exhausts have to come from the U.S. which is a fairly risky proposition IMO.
Anyway, I've pretty much decided to go with a Milltek exhaust as it looks reasonably stock, but from reports is slightly louder at higher revs. What I would like to find out is whether anyone has good or bad experiences with them. Oh, and if anyone thinks I'm wasting money and should go for something else, then that would be helpful too!
Finally, does anyone know of a reputable supplier and fitter in the Surrey area?
Thanks!
Kaz
I have had a Miltek and a Nismo fitted to the 350Z I used to own , The miltek was a lot better made than the Nismo IMHO, the Nismo Y-piece broke but worked fine with the genuine Nissan item fitted instead..
Miltek
Nismo
An APS that I never got round to fit !!

Thats a pretty good price IMO, I pad that several year ago.
+1 a hell of a lot of work to get a rough cast standard plenum polished, they look fantastic when done correctly

Bloody hell, Chesterfield has changed a bit.

Just popped in to see how things were going on here, and see the bombshell of Dave resigning..all I can say is that Dave has put a hell of a lot of effort in over the years and will be sorely missed..and also a real; Gent to boot.. i will never forget the fantastic Wales trips I went on
Good to see the oldies remember where we are still. Got any new shirts recently?
Hi Chris, LOL. no I'm getting a bit more subtle in my taste now

I could buy a Ferrari 360 tomorrow for £35k, would people say "ah you only bought that because you couldn't afford a 430?" Highly doubtful.
I would

How can a 3.2 Porsche be considered a girls car? because its a convertible?? I don't think I've ever even seen a woman driving a boxster....
I see nothing but middle aged women driving them round here
-
Yeah but that was a old 2.7 not a 3.2 S and Tim's a cantakerous old man
no it wasnt it was the S model and it was awful, also the trim was falling to bits, not enough legroom and it wasnt a patch on my 350z...The only reason to buy a boxster is that you havent enough cash to buy a proper Porsche
in fact the Boxster I has use of for a few weeks only hit the road twice in all the time I had it, it was that awful to drive after the 350z, also you look a bit of a dick in them (my opinion of course !! )

will this still fit if you have the bluetooth adaptor installed?
Jak
Sorry no idea , I never bothered with bluetooth in my car, I would never have heard the phone with nismo exhaust, hi-flo cats and induction kit
-
do you do collection? I'd get it if I didn't have to splash out on delivery.
yep you can collect if you want... but I would think it would cost you more in petrol than £4.50 P&P ?
-
Found this kicking about..just put it on Ebay if anybody wants one ?
-
Airbox and all the bits arrived this morning.
Thanks Tim
