  1. Hi Mate

I presume thats gregs old car

    UR pulleys

    Quote from manufacturer

Unorthodox Racing Ultra Street (Ultra S) lightened under drive crank pulley. Made of lightweight Premium U.S. made 6061-T6 billet aluminum to ensure consistency of the material's strength and balance. Every pulley is inspected multiple times from machining to anodizing to stocking and finally at shipping time. If at any point a pulley does not pass inspection it is pulled from production.

An average of 5 to 12 HP and 4 to 8 lbs.-ft. on normally aspirated engines and 8 to 16 HP and 8 to 18 lbs.-ft. on forced induction engines. Higher gains are possible. For example, a Nissan 300ZX twin-turbo saw gains as high as 37 HP and 45 lbs.-ft. on the dyno just buy replacing the stock crank pulley with the Ultra S lighted underdrive crank pulley. Power gains are obtained in two ways. First, and most important, is the weight loss. An average of 2.7 HP is gained from every pound lost off the crank shaft. 85% of our gains are from weight loss. The rest of the gains are from underdriving, which accounts for about 15% of the total gains. Underdriving is not pushed for two main reasons. The main reason is to keep charging systems, air conditioning, power steering, and water pumps moving fast enough for every day driving. Second, not much horsepower is gained from extreme underdriving. In most applications all of the underdriving is done with the crank pulley, not the accessory pulleys. This is done so maximize weight loss can be achieved at the crank where most of the horsepower gains are found. Many Ultra S pulley applications are available in the Ultra Street Sets (Ultra SS) which in most cases include all the accessory pulleys except for the A/C compressor. You can always upgrade to an Ultra SS kit with the purchase of the Ultra A pulleys. Actual product may vary slightly from image.

  2. Ah I see, thought it would be more technical than that

V Adjustments make a huge difference I first set them rock hard all corners, on the road seemed fine but on a track handled like a dog, now settings changed and everything seems OK, road 100% better, track errrm need to sort one or two issues then will be the real test :teeth: .

  3. No problems here mate, 14months and 6year old

Sounds good to me spill. Just what I am wanting to hear. On the hunt now for a gunmetal 2nd hand. Sold my car 3 weeks back and am desperate to get back on the road.......in a 350!!! :yahoo::yahoo:

To be fair though I do have 3 cars, :ninja:

but it is possible to manage with a zed and a large family car, it will be a struggle though, it will just mean swapping cars more regularly, which means more miles :teeth: and IMO when they're over twelve months a forwarding facing seat is OK in a zed as long as the seat is as far back as possible.

  4. I am desperate to buy a 350 but my wife and I are expecting our first baby next year. I know the 350 cannot have a child in the front but my wife will have the people carrier type car anyhow!! Just some general feedback on whether you 350 owners out there are any of you with small children and do you manage??? Is this possible???? SAY YES!!!!!!! :scare::yuck:

No problems here mate, 14months and 6year old

  5. Just had this accepted under warranty and there are nissan part numbers for the modification on the system :)

BTW ppl also check your wiper blade arms for corrosion this also a known problem Front and Rear

  6. except the dealers have told me its nothing to do with CV joints - its wheel bearings.

    Anyone else had this?

My original dealers told me I had a wheel bearing gone, couldn't do anything till it failed, took it to another dealer for second opinion, both cv joints changed, then changed again by another dealer at my P2 service

  7. Weren't you @ WRC sometime in May?

@ Smokey, that custom exhaust/cats made one hell of a difference B)

Yeah - we had a clubvr4 dyno day there (great fun). A couple of us went down the weekend before to have a look-see and help them set up for the VR4's as they hadn't run them before. They had two Z's in at the time - one getting two hairdryers, and one getting a SC.

    Great bunch.

Agree about that exhaust - 30BHP :scare: !!!

I was collecting mine on your dyno day then :D

  8. taverumuch!

I assume the first was a chassis dyno too, and the 'flywheel' figure is actually wheel + fudge-factor?

WRC normally give power at the wheels when they use the 'std shootout' settings - is that the case here, or is it also wheels+fudge factor?

It was the one where the wheels come off and yes wheels+fudge for both

  9. OK I'll start off but give me a chance I had a parents evening to go to :p

Invida true dual, Kinetix Plenum and High Flow Cats, Grounding Kit, Vortech Supercharger :teeth:

  10. Thanks folks - I've been reluctant to install the latest ROM image on the phone as it's supposedly even slower than previous versions. Guess I'll have to bite the bullet

Haven't noticed any difference other than the left hand tool bar is no longer avaliable as standard

  11. The XDA has several software versions and the latest has this speaker phone feature sorted.

Try downloading the latest software for the XDA from your provider it has cured several similar faults with in-car kits.

My XDA Exec also has had problems with bluetooth, as teddy said the new version helps, have you dropped it? last problem I had was the bluetooth connection kept dropping half way through conversations, basically the motherboard had cracked, according to O2 technical, this can cause serval problems with the bluetooth settings.

  12. You should get rid of yours and buy mine ;) because I need to sell and move on

Can't stand the noise of a kinetix plenum :p

Thx I was looking at the AAM system having read a few of your past posts about fuel, but not sure whether I'm going to take it much further, I'm in for about £6K to date just on SC so can't decide whether to cut my loses return to stockish park up in the garage and buy a noble or 996

  13. I'll have some spare ones off my car soon (standard 440cc APS ones), but im sure you'll need em pretty quickly??? Should be off the car in a couple of weeks.

Cheers this may be a short term solution, I've been without the car since March so another couple of weeks shouldn't hurt
