  1. Anyone used these before? https://ebay.us/m/HdZPHq
  2. Hi all, I'm looking to upgrade the headlights on my 2009 z as they are looking a bit tired and I want modern light technology. Having had a conversation directly with Morimoto, they told they no longer do the RHD version of their units and conversion of LHD version is not possible due to completely different grinding of the lenses. My question is anyone know of similar alternatives? I've trawled the tinterweb and can't seem to find anything suitable for UK cars Thanks
  3. For anyone wondering, I went with a pair of pioneer TS-A879's which just about fit. These are running off a Pioneer GM-D8704, along with my Focals. However they do nothing for the overall sound! My advice to anyone considering using this location to fit upgraded speakers is don't waste your money! My route is going to be either custom installed 6x9's or just a sub. Decision will be made once the Focals are run in.
  4. Hi all, So having replaced my stock screen/headunit with a nifty city screen my next change is to rip out all the Bose stuff and replace it with significantly better hardware. I have a Pioneer GM-D8704 driving a pair of Focal ES165KE Elite K2 components for the front but as yet unselected rears, there doesn't seem to be many choices in 3.5" My question is, what have people fitted or any recommendations? Robin
  5. Thanks for your input Keith, much appreciated 👍 Now on to removing the awful Bose system! Robin
  6. I have now resolved my issue. The Nifty City instructions list mandatory and optional connections that need to be made via their link harnesses and it appears that this isn't quite right, or at least it wasn't for my 09 Z. Basically I had to access the Bluetooth unit located at the front of the boot on drivers side, disconnect the righthand connector and fit a specific supplied harness to the car loom. There was a further connection I had to do at the screen end. The "optional" connections made everything work as normal on my car. If anyone is fitting or thinking of fitting one to an early car and gets stuck I can provide some images. Robin
  7. Yep, original AC control box is still plugged into the OEM harness. It's the only unit retained from the stock equipment. The wire cutting and joining is only applicable to certain 09 models apparently.
  8. Hi Keith, Issue I have is the AC controls don't work properly. Now I know there is an alleged fix that involves cutting the supplied main harness and connecting white and green wires but the problem I'm having is that doesn't match any loom that I've been supplied. Thanks
  9. Anyone out there fitted one of these screens to a 2009 270z? I've seen the write for the smaller screen but that doesn't help me and nifty city tech support are about as much use as a chocolate fireguard! Thanks

  11. Hey guys, Pics as requested
  12. Hi all, Thought I'd drop a message as this is my first post on the forum having just bought a 370z GT Ultimate. Not my first Z experience though, I've been the owner of 3 300zxTT's in the past and I was going to buy another but couldn't find one in the right condition for reasonable money, then the 370z popped up, so here I am.
