I am a pretty slow driver, I probably only ever rung about 50% out the car but even that first 50% was epic.

Reality is any decent high performance car you can only really rung out 50 to 70% on the road, really need them on a track to exploit them truly.

  2. Would love a Noble, problem is cost to keep them on the road, looked at one a few years back when they where cheaper than they are now, ruffled through the receipts and decided needed to mortgage the house to service and fix it, but yes they are amazing cars, the M12 will he in my fantasy after my lottery win 😁

  3. Those vx220 are fun, nearly bought one, but they are a bugger to get in and out off 🤣

If you get anything less than an S we will have you banned from the forum. On a serious note the gts version are great if you have the budget.

  4. Z4M bit like the m2 vs 240 m sport, if you like driving you get the proper M 😆

The XFR is a big car, the RS version is much better on handing and hides it weight well.

I would take the cayman over a z4 any day though 🤣

  5. Think you written off the 4 seats now but would look at an Jaguar XFR over an M3, the RS maybe out of budget, they are fun.

Just sold an SLK, they are nice compared to a 350 inside, quick, but they don't like corners I found, disappointing in my view and they starting to show there age (my view).

Z4M are fun, cayman are nice too, but make you cry a lot if they go wrong 😃

  6. Hello and welcome. Lots of great tips on here, don't limit yourself to dealers, number owned by enthusiastic people, often dealers don't know what they have 😄

  7. Thanks, the chap who owned it before me replaced the roof couple of years ago with a mohair roof, although not see many in this colour but roof works well with the colour.

Have given the roof a good wash and sprayed some protection stuff on it, first soft top, previous converiables been hardtops 😄

  8. Really pleased how she has come out, full clay and machine polish taken out most light scratches and tidied up a couple of slightly deeper ones.

Found a little dent that I did not noticed when purchased before christmas, but have dent kit that needs playing with 😁

  9. Thanks, watched a number of video now, looks like wrapping is possible but need to use brushes to push the vinyl into the grooves, it will mean they are likely to show through, although may look OK with a carbon effect? Only way to know for sure it to wrap a panel and see I suppose.

Not sure like the idea of sanding out the dimples, feels little risky, other option maybe to paint them if wrapping does not work.

  10. Apologise for post, but looking through previous posts there seems to be no recommendations in West Yorkshire or posts are very old and garages may have changed hands..

Hopefully picking up the Z today, but wanted to know if any good garages for servicing and any repairs etc.

Seen chap in Malton (Chris I think), probably a tad far and the a64 can be royal pain if busy.

  11. Thanks all, deposit down on a 2007 HR roadster, now just subject to a mechanical inspection, looked pretty good to me, small issue with the centre front bumper, been resprayed badly, suspect can get a sticker/wrap off it as not a big area.

Need a mechanic as became blind after driving it 🤣

  12. Quick question, the HR 313 version on the 350z, I hear the early ones had some issues?

Seen a convertible one local which will go and have a look around, anything specifically to look at apart from evidence of regular servicing etc.
