  1. Hi guys,I hope you are all well.So I drove the 350z after a while ,maybe just over a month or so as I bought myself a daily. The car seemed fine when I went for a drive last night,at first it drove fine ,poped into a shop to grab a drink, once I started the car again it sounded as if I just had turned the car on from a cold start which was not the case..When I drive the revs shoot up but take a long time to drop even letting go of the accelerator, once the car is stationary it idles at over 1000 RPM and gradually raise the RPM's itself. Any idea why this may be?..I read about resetting the ECU may help by doing a 'pedal dance' or something, I have not tried anything to resolve the issue as of yet especially having very limited knowledge with a issue like this, any help would be highly appreciated, thank you

  3. If I may ask ,does anyone know what guage is the orginal speaker wires for front door speakers along with how many watts are the Bose speakers? - I'd like to run Pioneer 3-way speakers rated at 75 watts RMS with the factory speaker wiring by simply using speaker adpater plugs. Would running these speakers with factory wiring cause any overheating issues to the factory speaker wires or I most definitely need to replace factory speaker wiring ( I prefer not replace them by drilling a hole in the molex ). - I already have a Pioneer SPH 230DAB HU installed, which I believe has a built in amp for 4 x 50W RMS for speakers. Which works completely fine with steering controls etc. - I also have a 2000 watt JBL GT 6 channel Amp laying around which I can use for rear speakers and sub by running the Power wire from the battery to the AMP,Remote wire and RCA s from HU to the AMP and lastly attaching the Ground wire from the AMP to the chassis. Any help would be appreciated on running stock speaker wires to aftermarket speakers or another way around the molex. Thanks
  4. Hi Mark, from my experience owning a 2008 350z HR, I came across 2 big issues which I'm sure other HR owners would also agree with. 1. Oil Gallery Gasket fail (gaskets made out of paper which fail),as mentioned by members also to mention 'Waterpump' and 'Thermostat' is also located in the area if you were to ever replace them. Mine only just gone to 14/15psi.I keep an eye on the oil pressure gauage, hopefully will be getting mine replaced soon. 2.CSC (centric slave cylinder) as it is internal (inside the transmission) instead of external for DE&Rev-Up. It can fail at anytime due to use of plastic on the part which apparently can't withstand the high heat.I just got mine replaced with Zspeed C.M.A.K V3 Kit which converts it from internal to external cylinder. However there are cheaper option which is using a HD slave. Common small issues with age: 1.LSD bushing leakage (black liquid) for all GT models as they all come with LSD.Hardly seen any topic about this issue in the forums but it's worth a mention. If you were to ever get them replaced.Well it can help you with bringing the price down for what it's worth. 2.C.V joints (clicking noise),regrease them and you'll be fine. 3.Boot struts and motor which can go bad overtime due to usage and of course the boot being very heavy but it's an easy fix. 4.Windscreen Washer motors going bad ( maybe this was just with me ) however very easy fix under £10. 5.Door hinges/ handles can go bad too if misused as the doors are very heavy. 6.Window regulators is another common for some models not sure about HR's. I hope this helps
  5. Apparently 14/15 psi is the minimum it should be according to Nissan, anything lower or say more closer to 0 psi then it needs to be dealt with ASAP, which is of course replacing the Gallery Gaskets that go bad as they are made out of paper, nothing can be done to prevent it from going bad, it will happen sooner or later, my cold start today was at 110 psi, after 30 mins of being warmed up it went down to 15-20 psi ,not sure how urgently mine needs replacing, will definitely get refined ones whenever I decide to replace them.
  6. Oh right how long was yours on 14 psi before it went down to 5 psi ?, mine had always been on 28 psi, only just few days back it went down to 14/15 psi (weather was extremely hot outside past few days),I thought maybe it was because of the hot temprature. My service is coming up soon, will see if it makes a difference otherwise I'll also be getting the Gallery Gaskets done too, probably will change water pump+thermostat alongside it too since they are located in the same area.
  7. What was your car's oil pressure before you changed them, 15psi or closer to 0psi ?
  8. I'm assuming they do require replacing from the responses based on attached photos?
  9. Hi Guys, does anyone know the symptoms of bad Oil Gallery Gasket causing low Oil Pressure. First Photo is how it used to be just under 30 PSI or how it has been since I bought the car years back. Second photos is how it is now which looks like 15 PSI to me. Is this too low or isit normal?, I have never noticed it drop this low ever before also if it requires replacing, how much parts+labour Will it be ?,I'm based in East London if that helps, thank you
  10. I'd like to say thank you to everyone from the z community for welcoming me on here @SH23 Unfortunetley im not able to drive it at all as the fluid leaks out from under the car while the clutch pedal stays stuck to the floor not allowing me to put it in any gear whatsoever.Really miss driving the Z, feels weird driving other cars haha Coz@TORQEN I'm convinced it is the CSC, its a known issue for HR's ,After much research I choose to purchase Zspeed C.M.A.K V3 delete kit which deletes internal salve and replaces it as external slave and is of much better build quality.I just hope it arrives soon ,didnt realise it was a backorder but hey as long as it sorts out the issue, it'll be worth the wait.
  11. Hi guys I'm new on here and in need of urgent help as i speak... My 2008 350Z HR just gave up on its clutch pedal, the clutch pedal just dropped whilst driving, checked for fluid level and it was empty, topped it up to notice it leak under the car,I was wondering isit definitely the internal CSC or could a be a damaged hose causing the same issue ?,the clutch was replaced by Nissan at 25K miles now its just over 70kmiles on the clock,im guessing I'm okay with the oem clutch for now,its a daily by the way .Any help would be very much appreciated regarding csc fail as I've read OEM CSC are known to fail. P.s - I've already placed an order for Zspeed C.M.A.K V3 delete kit ,is this the way forward? Thanks
