Great photos. Would you recommend Javelin? I used to swear by bookatrack but the last day I was at with them it was a swarm of race cars in the 500-800kg range with only one road car. I was in a caterham myself, but I wouldn't have wanted to be in a Z that day.

Digging up all the roads without double yellows for wireless charging really isn't going to happen. A government project of that scale is always going to be a disaster.

This, the "living in flats/rented house issue", is why I think EVs are not going to properly take off until they will drive off fully automated and go charge themselves, returning for when they're needed.

Westfield Mega S2000. I had a Caterham hire at Donnington recently and I think I need to have something utterly unpractical in my life sooner or later. I can take my 370 to Sainsburys and do a reasonable shop. I want a single carrier bag to be the limit...
...I hate shopping.

Starting the car when it's on a lift is a PITA. I'd consider this mod (with a switch to disable it) for that alone. Unless thrust bearings are failing before clutches need replacing (are they? I haven't been here very long), I don't see a need to do it to save the bearing.

The clutch slave cylinder doesn't count, right?

Caveat emptor is for buying privately. As long as there's no wilful misleading, tough luck.
A dealer has many responsibilities, though. The car can be rejected within 30 days for example (e.g. discovering that the inside edges were bald or a horrible knock develops or the CEL comes on) and then for the first 6 months beyond that, the burden of proof of a fault being pre-existing (and therefore the dealer should sort it out) lies with the dealer (i.e. they should generally fix it providing it's with the expected age/condition - a car with 5K on has different standards to an old banger for £250).
Warranties are on top of the dealer responsibilities, optional, and run by loss adjusters who love not to pay out, so make sure you read the fine print.

Whilst I admire the Tesla Roadster and would have one in a heartbeat, I think citing the annual outlay on tax/fuel for the c63 as a factor in purchasing a £150K+ car might have more than a touch of man maths about it.

The Z is my sensible second car.

The video is set to private.

Probably just corrosion holding it on.
If you can manage access, put bolts mostly back in the hub, but not all the way ( a couple of mm between head and knuckle) and smack the head of the bolts with lump hammer (via a bar with a socket on if it helps with access).

They only drive 1,500 miles a year (according to the MOT history) so I'm guessing old guy/gal ?

I don't know the rules on thread resurrection, but google sent me here. If you have access to a 3D Printer, these printed at 75% size on my Prusa i3 Mk3 produced perfectly sized clips for fixing the mats to my 370Z:

The car has 129K on it and no-one had fixed the mats yet

Also depends how much you value your time. I PXed a Navara for my 370Z and I know I'm about £1500 down in terms of selling privately and buying privately... but then I'd not have had a car to use until I found the right Z (the one I now have would certainly have gone) and living on the Isle of Wight, it's £100 minimum just to go look at a car because of ferry costs, never mind time.
WBAC I just use as an absolute floor for any part ex conversations.

Advantage Motorsport at Donnington Park, Derby? Just check they're open before you set off.
This is so much down to trying stuff on and making sure you're happy. I'm a "seams on the outside" guy. Personally I'd go for full face so you can passenger ride (or drive) Caterhams, karts etc without needing another lid.

Hello!
I just picked up a yellow manual 2010 370Z GT. I started looking for a daily drive whilst my 200SX track project is off the road and ... well ... ended up with something decidedly far less "sensible" than I originally planned.
Got to say, loving it so far, so ... hi!
