  1. I’m thinking of swapping out mine for black ones. Mine are heated and electric, just small wear on drivers seat. Nothing terrible. Pm me if still looking
  2. Absolutely. I love forums for ideas, help, tips and advice with my cars over the years. I’m glad I’ve found a good one here now I’m a Nissan owner thanks again
  3. Amazing Fixed! Veeg33 you’re an absolute legend! Extremely helpful information, thank you so much. if a mod can move this to the correct section it may help someone else out with 350z with the same or similar problem......
  4. Could a moderator move this thread to the 350z section please? I didn’t realise I posted in the wrong place. Sorry thanks in advance
  5. Either I’m going mad or I don’t have a window regulator reset switch on my door. Any advice on what to try or where to look next? Thanks
  6. That makes the most sense about calibration. My motor is strong and switch is responsive. I’ll give the reset a try and report back. Thanks for the advice. Fingers crossed!
  7. Ok. I think maybe it’s best to send mine off then as one of yours may need to be sent anyway. I need other parts though so I will pm you thanks for your advice ill update here once the module is cleared, hopefully that will get rid of the light
  8. Thanks. That reset button could be the solution..... I looked at the video, my switches don’t say auto on like the guy describes. Maybe I don’t actually have auto up? I thought auto up and down was like one touch for all the way up and then same for down rather than keeping your finger on the switch. Maybe it’s not. Also as you describe pressing once will move the window up and down an inch or so. Mine doesn’t do this. If I press down it goes all the way down unless I pull it up again to stop. And the same but reversed for going up. I just checked, my passenger side that works fine, when it closes I can hear a click shortly after it’s closed position. On drivers side I don’t get this click, even after it’s stopped in the wrong place. It goes down again more like 3-4 inches not 2 as I first described. It makes no odds if the door is open or closed. The finish position for fully up is always the same leaving the window 3-4” open any thoughts? Would a new replacement switch solve do you think? Thanks
  9. Hi guys. I have a 2003 import. The passenger side auto up works great and seals perfectly but the drivers side window goes up to top but then comes down again about 2 inches before it stops. It’s really annoying. I have to stop it just before it seals to make it look closed but I get condensation because it’s not making a seal Any idea how how I can repair this fault please? Thanks
  10. Sorry. I’m new here! Ill post it up in the 350z section

  12. That’s great. Thanks for the info. I guessed the module was storing a code. I’ve just removed it. Do you have one? Part number 28556cd400 is there a front crash sensor that also needs replacing? Thanks
  13. I had a look at the pdf suggested and I saw there’s a crash sensor in the front bumper behind the Z badge. This is a USA Nissan manual though. I did previously read on a google search some models don’t have this crash sensor. Can anybody confirm or offer some advice of where to start? Cheers
  14. Thanks. My car is rhd uk Car imported from Japan. Is anyone else able to offer an opinion of where I should start to fix the airbag light problem based on their experience? If possible I would much prefer a practical explanation of the best way forward. On reading of the forum I can’t find anything similar
  15. sorry I didn't mention my car is a 2003
  16. hi Guys Sorry if I've posted up in the wrong section, I'm new here and I couldn't find anything more specific. My car is an import. I recently bought the import 350z with the steering wheel and passenger airbags deployed after a light front end crash. I plan to use the car a a second car and some track day fun once fully repaired. I replaced both airbags and cleared the codes from a universal diagnostic machine my friend owns but the light didn't clear as I'd hoped. I've seen the trick for getting rid of flashing light but mine is solid. Firstly is there a crash sensor somewhere that I likely also need to replace? Would replacing the control module help? Or just a more Nissan specific diagnostic? I'm planning to buy a diagnostic machine for the car anyway for things like this and future diy mechanics etc, what would you recommend? I was looking at the icarsoft i930 as I've had this before for a different make and I found it really useful. Obviously I'm not expecting dealer quality diagnosis but I want something that gives some value for fault finding on a 350z thanks in advance :)
