Hi Guys, following a rear end shunt, we had the indicator on the dash showing the boot (trunk/ hatch) open, even when firmly closed. This is the little diagram of the rear of the car showing tailgate open, which sits to the right of the main warning screen
Warning screen was behaving properly when open or closed, it was just the constant warning symbol to the right staying on
Car was repaired (well sort of, long story for another day, just NEVER use AD Williams!!!) but warning was still on. 3rd trip after numerous calls to them and now it's not lit, which is great.... except
It now doesn't light up when the tailgate is open! I suspect they've removed the light (probably a major job) or the fuse (if there is one), or just tied the wires together in the boot.
This is on a 2009 370z GT Ultimate, and the user manual doesn't show any lights for the tailgate open.
Anyone any experience, clues or suggestions please? I would love to prove the bodyshop have bodged it (along with other things I can prove they've bodged)
Thanks!!
Pete
