  1. Hi guys, our mechanic has found a bad leak on the steering fluid pipe (part number 49720) which either needs replacing or serious repair. He spoke to Nissan and the delivery time is 6 weeks+ Anyone have any experience with this issue and suggestions on where to get a replacement, original or copy? 2 pics attached if this helps (in the photo, it's the pipe marked with blue line) Thanks!! Pete
  2. That’s great thankyou so much for your help. There’s nothing wrong with the headlamps otherwise. Will give it a go!
  3. I’m after a set of 370Z headlamp units. Both passenger & drivers side. Anyone have a spare set they would like to sell? Alternatively - the head lamp units on the car are very foggy... any advice on how to get rid of this?
  4. Hi guys, my 370z has been sitting for just over a year while out of the country. Friends started it last July Just jump started it and it fired up after a moment or three, but with an instant smell of plastic/ rubber and a fair amount of smoke from the left side of engine as you look from the front. Main belt can be seen going round, but I suspect maybe something like water pump wheel may be siezed, therefore creating smoke, does this sound right or any suggestions? No idea if temp will be correct as I turned it off before it got to temp, litterally within 20 of starting, before we get a fire Suggestions and things you would check please! Thanks
  5. OH! So not even related to the rear ender than! The light flicks on now with the ignition sequence, then doesn't reappear if you open the tailgate. Will try opening the bonnet tonight/ tomorrow and check if it still actually works Thanks for your help and identification of the light!!! Cheers Pete
  6. Hi Guys, following a rear end shunt, we had the indicator on the dash showing the boot (trunk/ hatch) open, even when firmly closed. This is the little diagram of the rear of the car showing tailgate open, which sits to the right of the main warning screen Warning screen was behaving properly when open or closed, it was just the constant warning symbol to the right staying on Car was repaired (well sort of, long story for another day, just NEVER use AD Williams!!!) but warning was still on. 3rd trip after numerous calls to them and now it's not lit, which is great.... except It now doesn't light up when the tailgate is open! I suspect they've removed the light (probably a major job) or the fuse (if there is one), or just tied the wires together in the boot. This is on a 2009 370z GT Ultimate, and the user manual doesn't show any lights for the tailgate open. Anyone any experience, clues or suggestions please? I would love to prove the bodyshop have bodged it (along with other things I can prove they've bodged) Thanks!! Pete
