    I second the wheels comment.

Personally i'd be looking for as standard an example as i could find, and this one almost ticks all those boxes. I note you say in the original advert that you have all the original equipment available. Maybe swap the wheels in preparation for a sale. Also remove the window sticker.

Do you have any interior and engine bay pics, i know people like lots and lots of pictures also!

Thanks for the comments guys, this seems to be the general feedback for this particular ad.

It is currently advertised on Driftworks as well, so I may just have to find previous pictures before the wheels and sunstrip were added.

I will be sure to get some more pics of interior and engine bay!

I'll get some more photos added asap, and see if that generates any more interest.

    Thanks.

Good price - I'm sure this will sell quickly.  I paid £8,150 for my HR a few months ago and that had 95k miles on it, only difference was mine had the gallery gaskets done, but this has a better service history - I would definitely have bought this a few months ago! Love the colour too

Thank you. To be honest, it hasn't really gauged that much interest which I'm surprised about! Hoping it sells soonish as I have my eye on another car at the moment.

  3. Hi everyone,

Reposting this with more info as I have decided to sell :(

After a long debate with myself, I have decided it is time to sell my Z as I want to move onto something a bit different. My time of ownership of the car has been nothing but smiles, always turns heads wherever it goes and I always get compliments on the colour scheme.

Always taken care of, due to be taken in for a P1 Service, along with changing gearbox and diff oil at Horsham Developments on the 15th of November so buyer can have the confidence that everything is as it should be. MOT’d until the 5th April 2019, full service history apart from one stamp that Nissan forgot to do.
Price wise, I am looking around the £8000-£8500, as it is a super clean car and don’t want to see it go too cheap.

    Please see spec list below:

Just over 65500 (will increase slowly as still in use)
305hp Dyno printout by Horsham Developments
Rare Night Blue (San Marino Blue) colour
White Rota Grids 9.5j front 10.5j rear
    Falkens all round
Cobra non resonated mid pipe and back box (had plans for a full system just never got around to it)
    Tein S Tech lowered springs
    Mines style front lip
Side steps, subtle but make a big difference
Clear lenses fitted to headlights along with demon eyes.
Pretty sure there's a couple of other things but they are the main parts really. I still have all the original parts too, wheels etc

If you have any questions, please PM or text and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

    Thank you for reading.

Im not sure yet, rears look pretty level but fronts are out a bit!!

I bought them thinking i would do centres gunmetal....but i quite like the green now ive seen them!

I have ordered 275/40/18 for back and im goin to use up my standard 245/45/18s on front, then replace with 255/40/18 as long as they fit....

Rears look fine, although it looks like they'll stick out when the tyre is on, and the fronts will be the same, you may have to roll the arches ornthink about having a bit of camber to tuck it underneath. I'm sure someone can suggest something else if they've had the same issues as mine were a straight fit without having to do any exterior work.

Hi, what size tyres are you running?

    I have just got some rota kensei wheels 18×9.5 & 18×10 +15 & 22

    Hoping they fit like yours!!

Hi, sorry, didn't see the message until now. Fronts are 245/35/19 and rears are 275/35/19. Bearing in mind, mine are 19".

Do you need to roll your arches with the rears on or are you ok? Quite aggressive fitment so they'll look good, good looking wheels as well.

Now a late Evo ........... thats a different prospect IMO. Still performs as well as anything out there, you wont lose any money on it and they are a genuine experience, the GTT is similar but a bit less so for me.

This was my thought process for the Evo. First of all, both of my brother in law's worked for ralli art, and one still works at Mitsubishi, so I'm lucky in the sense that, when I do go to look at one, I can take either of them and they can show me what to look for, also the do's and don'ts of owning one. I know the fluids have to be kept on top of as a must.

They are a great investment at this time, especially as I plan to keep it relatively stock, new wheels, intercooler and remap upgrade. 4 doors, turbocharged, good power, 4wd and in turn, a great daily to a certain extent. Not much of a rust problem either, on imports or UK specs, but it does mean, I'd have to get rid of the Z....but, it's a turbo jap car, a friend of mine has one and has kindly said he'll let me have a go in his to get an idea of what they are like to drive.

I thought that was this car I saw today, looked gorgeous mate, loved the wheels!

Thank you! A lot of people loved the wheels, I was surprised! I think it's because it's such a contrast to the blue :). It was a great day, so many nice cars and people, just unfortunately left as a lobster

Don't mean to hijack your topic but I'm in a similar dilema myself, thinking about getting an R34 GTT and wrestling with the pros and cons that come with going to an older car from the 350z. I want something petrol, manual, RWD, similiar power and with rear seats for ~14k.

Audi S5, BMW 335i (dont fancy E46 M3 with 100k miles), Monaro are other considerations. GT86 and TT are out due to rear space.

An R34 Skyline is always something I've wanted to own, GTR's are mental money and the GTT is the only affordable way into ownership. I can afford to be carless from a time perspective when issues crop up but not necessarily from a financial perspective if it turns into a lemon, decisions decisions

No worries at all man, I'm happy to see others taking an interest into turning back the clock when it comes to cars!

I was considering an R34 GTT myself and almost did buy one, I haven't done the same amount of research on them as I have S14s but I don't know if they carry the same types of problems. A friend of mine owned one for a year or 2 and had hardly any problems, but saying that, any car can have it's problems, you can drive a brand new one off the forecourt and something could go wrong. If you go for a looked after one, there's no reason why it won't look after you.

Obviously being an older car, its main thing will most likely be rust issues, but as long as it's kept on top of, can't see why you shouldn't go for it. Just do your research before jumping in.

As much as I would love an S14a, that's probably a while away for me, currently saving to get possibly an Evo 8/9, I'm sure that will scratch the turbo itch for the time being haha.

Oh i rebuilt the whole thing, Engine, suspension components, everything. Turbo was a hybrid ball bearing all mapped on a MoTeC Mpro  @ Fensport.

330hp @ the fly. Did a 12.8 @ Santa pod which was the best run. On track it was pretty good. Cornered like a house fly

Yes, a bit of a pain as a daily but it was an easy car to work on.

Oh I bet that was tonnes of fun to race around in. Yeah unfortunately like coldel says, photobucket doesn't work, but I'll be wanting to see what it looks like.

Any plans for more track days once it's all up and running?

Probably a couple of months, got everything else just waiting for a piston and con-rod set to come over from the states and i'm more or less ready to rock!

Ah nice man! Bet you're itching to get it ready! I think I've decided on what I'm going to do regarding the s14. I'm going to keep my Z for now and possibly in the upcoming months, purchase an S body, simply for a small project/weekend car, same sort of idea, nothing crazy power wise, just as a fun car to drive on the weekends/to shows. Makes sense rather than trying to daily an s body and risk the problems, but I'm looking forward to it none the less!

For the kit I bought you get an adapter plate that you fit between the gearbox and engine (some plates you have to cut the gearbox housing which I wasn’t for) then you use a s15 flywheel and clutch, cut the gear shifter linkage and shorten it so it lines up with the hole for the gear leaver in the car, then you have to modify the down pipe so it doesn’t catch on the larger gearbox. Plus bash the trans tunnel a bit so the thing fits. And lastly you need some gps device to send a speed signal to the dash, as the old gearbox had a speed sensor built in.

Wow, so yeah, a bit of modification needed! How are you getting on with it now?

Sticking a 350z box in mine as the standard manual isn't that tough. The problem is getting all the pedals etc as they are rare to see up for sale and can cost a few quid, or you can be an idiot like me and try and make 350z stuff fit.... somehow.

If you believe something will happen, it will happen! Do you not have to get clucth conversation kits to make the 350z box fit or is it a straight swap? (Or is that wishful thinking?

You only live once eroll!! My dad did say to me once " if you have always wanted a particular car and never got round to owning one, you'll always wonder with a hint of regret ". He wasn't wrong. I don't regret buying my Pulsar for one second now. it's currently having a complete rebuild to which i'm starting to see the end of the tunnel. Really looking forward to getting it back on the road.

If you've always wanted an S14, go for it and represent!

Your dad sounds like a wise man with them words. It's better to do it and regret it or love it, than to not do it at all! There is an import for sale that is not far from me and it's tempting!

How long do your think before your Pulsar is back?

They can be, it is a very common conversion, but i will be honest,  I wouldn't know how to do it on my own, and the labour charge for that, I dread to think how much that would be! I'd  either like to have one that's already been converted or a factory manual.
