Hi everyone, I've been a Zed fan since I was a kid, mostly due to z32 300zx being produced when I was about 10 years old. Always thought that'd be the one car I'll have once I grow up. It's still my favourite car but maybe for a project down the line. Anyways, dreaming about 300zx turned to 350z when they came out, and later 370z, but somehow life and marriage always made me go for practical and sensible cars. This year I decided I'll get one and it took me 5 months to actually buy it. Was looking at used approved, just used, new, ... Nothing really worked. Either not maintained properly, dodgy car sellers, or over budget when going to main dealers. Last week I found mine, and bought it the same day. It's a 67 plate 370z Nismo with Bose and SatNav (didn't look or wanted SatNav, but didn't care enough to not take the car - I know I can't swap it for other units but who cares, right?) So here it is: I've only had the car for a week, and coming from a tuned fwd car, I'm still getting to know the Zed. But the car has been everything I expected and more, loud, fun, great to drive, and I keep giggling like a little girl whenever I start driving it. I got hundreds of questions but I'll spend on the forums search for the next week before I start firing Anyways, happy to be here, hope to meet some of you on meets as well. Oh im from E Midlands. Thread resurrection So after months of searching and looking around I've finally pulled the trigger and bought a car. I'll do a proper intro over the weekend but here it is: Coming from a tuned fwd car, and driving for a week only, I'm still getting to know the car, but so far it's been amazing, loud, and full of giggles and smiles.

Contacted them today, and they said they're not doing anything with cars outside their used network. I'll drive by on Saturday morning to get mine evaluated but I suspect they'll offer me as much as webuyanycar... They do have 2, 18K cars which look nice but I'll know more once I talk to them.

Thanks for the feedback. The problem I have is, if I buy from a private owner, I need to sell my car first, and after that start looking, meaning being without a car - and due to my work that's not really an option. And part exchanges don't really work with forum communities. I figured if I do a PPI at a Nissan garage, I should know of any problems which would help me decide to not buy the car, or offer to reduce the price for the value of needed repairs. There's another car I'm looking which nissan is selling through their approvad used network. More expensive but a potential candidate as well. I'll wait a bit longer to see if anyone has a East Midlands recommendation for the PPI, but I'm definitely not buying anything without it. I've bought and sold enough cars in my lifetime to learn a few expensive lessons. Thanks again for the inputs, and please keep them coming

Hi Rob, Thanks. I've read through 80% of online reviews so I'm aware of the issues their customers had. Sadly most traders are suffering from post sale support, warranty claims etc. That's why I wanted to do a separate PPI preferably done by a Nissan specialist or dealership, and not rely on what they say about the car

Hi everyone, Long time lurker about to turn to owner. Life offered me a chance to finally buy a 370z, and I'm looking for a part exchange at Junction 17 for my Octavia VRS. As I don't trust traders of any sorts I wanted that a Nissan servis/garage does a PPI which I'd pay for, and J17 agreed. However Nottingham Nissan Sandicliff said they don't do PPI for cars not sold by their network, so I'm in desperate need to find a good independent place in notts or east Midlands to do the PPI. Hopefully you guys can help. I'm looking at a 2010 370z 40th anniversary model and a separate 2010 GT. I was hoping for a 2013 due to apperently better sound insulation and suspension updates but hey... You can't have it all, right? Any help is much appreciated! Cheers!
