Hi I am looking for a new engine to Nissan 350z 2004 , Can I put the engine from earlier models as well ?

Just found out that the company rebuilt the engine is very dodgy , phones not valid , very bad reviews on the internet . My mistake didnt check it before , just trusted in invoice . Another lesson....

The engine was fully reconditioned 9 months ago - 1k miles -by Auto Engines Uk It had that common ticking noise though , but was pulling ok on test drive . When driving home it started rattle more and more and finally gone with big oil leak.
