  1. Hi guys, thanks for the replies and obviously pictures of ya cars. Any excuse eh? Lmao I'm the same. Even got my car picture put on my debit card by barclays haha. Okay both tein s and eibach sound great plus they are cheaper than swift so bonus :-) Can I just ask have they added any handling gains. Even though I'm after a small height drop I am more so interested in where the handling improves around corners. I. E. Car feels more planted. Less body role etc. Oh and to join in here's my car ;-) Cheers guys :-)
  2. Hi guys, Just had 4 new tyres and break pads fitted and by mid to end of march should have enough for some lowerring springs from torqen. I'm stuck between eibach and swift spec r. I've heard good things about swift. I current run stock 19s with 30mm spacers on rear. Now the only issue I have is when I fit the springs and once settled can I get them aligned to near spec oem settings. Or am I going to need a camber kit of sorts. If that the case I may have to hold off until I save more so hoping I don't need to buy a kit. The zed is emptying my pockets lmao worth it though :-) Cheers
  3. Nah got them straight from the pipercross shop in UK. Had a couple of people try to fit them including me as I just needed to check I wasn't being completely thick lmao no matter how much we tried we just couldn't get the clips to close as the fitment wasn't right. They were slightly to large only by about a few mm all the way round but it was enough to stop them from fitting. Those HKS ones on your site. It states 350z HR. Does the HR have the same fitment as the 370z? What are the postage times? Im off for the night as me misses is moaning I've been on here too long lmao but I'll reply tomorrow. Regards
  4. The reason I want performance drop ins is after my service in January I'm going to book a remap with either Horsham or Abbey and want to get the most out as I have an aftermarket exhaust already and was informed the performance filters will help with remap by a friend who modifies all his cars for a l although not zeds poor lad has no taste haha. His comments were every little helps when performing a remap as it brings all the components/parts together no matter how minimal. However if there not going to do anything then I'll just stick with the paper. Although was thinking HKS as there non oiled after just reading about potential maf issues, whether proven or not I'd rather not take the risk with oiled now. Thankyou for responding though. I may end up leaving the paper filters but would like to look into the hks ones first if anyone has any opinion on them :-)
  5. Hi, I have fitted my mishimoto post maf silicon tubes. Before anyone says anything it's mainly for look not performance haha.! Anyway I never realised how hard it was to buy replacement panal filters. I currently have stock so wanted performance ones. firstly tried jetex so ordered and paid to be told after it would take a week to get them. Then they contacted me again and said another 3 days ontop.! I requested a refund. Then tried ITG who said it will take 3 weeks so I didn't use them. Then called pipercross who said next day delivery. BARGAIN I thought. They arrived the next day but to my annoyance they do not fit. There the correct part numbers but there just slightly to big so you can't close the clips. I'm sending back for a refund. Now I'm really angry, how hard is it to get filters!!! Can anyone recommend decent performance panel filters that 1, I won't have to wait weeks for and 2, actually fit nicely. I've heard cosworth but there's are only limited for one year before needing to replace so pointless. That only leaves two. K&n and HKS. Is anyone using the K&n if so are they any good and do they fit fine. Same question for the HKS. Regards
  6. Aaahhh dammit haha. I ordered the Mishimoto ones. Cost me 150. Could have saved me some pounds if I seen this earlier lmao. However will remember to check torqen site next time I need something :-)
  7. Hi, Wasn't sure which section I should put this in as I'm not selling I wanting to buy. Does anyone on here have the mishimoto or similar I. E. HPS intake hoses for sale. I really want some but can't justify spend £150 for some silicon. I can't see them doing too much as there post maf so the reading has already been taken however they look better than stock and will provide a smoother air surface. Anyway if anyone has some there willing to sell due to upgrading to something else etc. Please let me know :-) Cheers folks :-)

    Tyre stretched

Cheers. Wow I'm skint after buying the car was hoping I could get three months out of them daily use as work is only 3 miles way. Then in 3 months get some new lmao and before anyone says if ya can't afford tyres ya can't afford the car. Rubbish lol. I just bought a house not long ago. My bank is now empty lmao haha. I guess safety is first though. I had heard that it's not great to have different brands on the driving axle but thought it would be fine if similar compounds, speed rating and type etc. Are P zero that bad then. Ive always thought they were doing decent tyres, however I've never had them on a zed haha. Guess it's the old credit card time. I guess the zed spending begins haha. Apart from mpsp what other tyres do ya rate? :-) Oh and Thanks ;-)

    Tyre stretched

Hi guys and gals, I recently bought my 370z a week or so ago now. Now I knew there was around 4mm on the back and about 3 left on the front. So I'm looking to change them very soon. However what I didn't notice is that the rear tyres are different. Ones a pirelli P zero and the others a michelin pilot super sport. There both correct size I. E. 275/35/19 but the pirelli looks is stretched even though it's the correct size. Has a anyone notice this. The mitchelin is not. I like the look so might go for all P zeros. Can someone tell me is this normal and the P zero when fitted are stretched. Attached pictures. If someone can confirm they do have the stretched look then that's brilliant. P. S. Ignore the curbage. It will be repaired lmao
  10. Actually scratch that. I didn't buy the car to watch miles per gallon. I'm bought for fun :-)
  11. That's not actually to bad for a big V6. Do you know a way to reset the mpg counter so to start from fresh. Currently it's probably basing it's calculations on me and the previous owner.! If not no worries I'm sure it will recalculate over a few more miles :-)
  12. Brilliant thanks.! Was getting a little worried as I have half the dots on but it states I only have 80 miles left in the tank. I'm like wow she likes to drink hahaha Loving the car though for years wanted a 350 but got a different sports car and even though I loved it I wished I had got the zed. Then the 370 came out and I was like I got to get me one of those no matter what haha now I've finally got one. Let the good times role :-)
  13. Hi guys, Finally got a 370z (second hand) and loving it so far. Now I'm arranging with a few friends to go on a mini road trip and as I am still on my first tank of fuel I cannot yet judge how far one will last. The road trip it self is around 270 miles. I will be starting on a full tank and there will be some spirited (legal speed) driving in sections but alot of the way is A roads so a50- 60 miles per hour will be the main speed. There is a shell petrol station located 200 miles into the trip which we will all stop at. Sooo with a little spirited driving in sections but mainly a 50-60 mph most the way do you think I will get to the petrol station 200 miles away with some fuel left in the tank or am I pushing it. :-)
  14. Hi, I have previously asked before but has anyone in the W-S-M area got a 370z or even a 350z I could just sit in so I can get a sense of ergonomics and for the owner just to take me for a 5 minute drive. Heck I'll pay £10 just to sit in it and for the owner to drive down the road. You see I'm planning on buying a 370z in April and just want to sit in one. I tried the dealer and they don't have one at there site and when I requested a test drive via email I got no response. Nissan service at there best pmao. Anyway is there anyone about that could arrange one day :-)

    370z Auto

Cheers folks for your replies. I'm struggling on waiting to buy one. I'm now only 8 months away from my target money wise. That's 8 months too long and I'm getting impatient haha. I'll try both auto and manual. I've driven manuals all my life but after tracking a Lambo gallardo auto with paddle shift on a track day, I loved it. Single clutch as well, so I was told and it was not too bad. Plus I'll be using the Z as a daily and traffic is a b%&£% in the morning so auto would be nice. Either way I'll try both :-) regarding mods, after about 6 months of ownership I'll be looking to get an Ark grip exhaust, k&n filters and remap. For now though I just want a 370 :-) thanks again guys for your help, this site and members are awesome :-)

    370z Auto

Hi, Will be getting a 370 in March/April next year. Now I've always had manual cars but I'm swinging to the 7 speed auto with paddle shifts. I have only had a few goes in normal autos. This is going to seem really stupid but I have a few questions. In paddle shift mode if you forget to downshift with breaking will it do it for you? Are the shifts speeds different between manual and drive mode.! Magazine's keep saying manual is really fast which seems to portray regular drive as slow? I also heard that you can leave in drive but also use the paddles and it switches to manual so you can down shift etc. If this is the case does it go back to drive after or does it stay in manual. I'm thinking to stay in drive and just use paddles when wanting to drop a few gears. But if in manual mode It lowers the gears when breaking then might aswell stay in manual and have more control. Sorry for stupid questions but I've always driven a manual so have not much knowledge of auto with paddles shifts lmao
  17. Have to say 1100 for 22 year old for all that power is actually a bargain. When I was 22 (I'm in my mid thirties now) I was paying about the same as you for a Ford Cougar V6 with only 170bhp 😂 that was quite powerful back then lmao) . Well enjoy ya zed. Hopefully next year I'll have mine :-)
  18. Hi, Nah won't be buying new. I've litterly a couple of months ago bought a house so has left me skint haha. I'll have saved enough money for a second hand one by march/April time next year. I've wanted a zed for years but was too busy saving for a house but now I am putting all my money into saving. My goal with be reached by March :-) I'd rather not say how much money because if I say how much I'm saving it doesn't give me much room for negotiations if people know lmao haha. I'll try a dealer but just feel uncomfortable asking to test drive a car I'm not going to be buying. I just want someone local to take me out for 2 min so I can get an idea. Its not a big deal though because I'll get one no matter what :-) Hope your enjoying ya zed :-) 22 with a zed your insurance must be high. Worth every penny though. Smiles per miles :-)
  19. Hi, Shot in the dark but I'm saving for a 370z and last night someone with a red Nismo 370 parked outside my house for a bit. I'm in weston super Mare. If your the owner and part of this site. Is there any chance you would let me sit in your car and could you take me for a 2 minute drive so I can see what it's like :-) Cheers :-)
  20. Hi All, Thanks for the warm welcome . Hopefully, when I get my Z ill be able to go to some meets. Already planed with friends a road trip from South of Wales to North - A470 plus some B roads along the way. I'll be the only Z Car but it's going to be a V6 drive. 370Z, MK4 Golf R32 and MK3 VR6 etc :-) I want the ZED now I'm too impatient. Oh well for now I'll just read the topics you guys put on here to tie me over till March :-)Any way thank you for the welcome and info :-) Regards Shep
  21. Hi guys/gals, Nice site, very informative. As per the title I do not have a 370z as of yet. I have just bought a house but by March next year I will have enough to buy hopefully a good second hand one :-) I apologise if this is the wrong section to ask because Im asking some questions but wanted to say hi at the same time so thought it best to do topic here :-) okay here goes:-) 1. From what I have read the clutch on a manual for the 370 is really really bad and has a really high biting point and is very unforgiving. Is this correct can somebody let me know how it feels like and is it easy to adjust to it or is there ways to adjust the clutch? 2. Does the 370 have a tint to the windows. I'll be getting the back window done to 35% and the roof vinyl wrapped black but I want to go 70 to 75% on the front and side windows. From videos it looks like the 370 already has a slight tint can anyone confirm? 3. Apart from the obvious checks is there anything I should be checking on the 370 when buying. Any known issues etc. Again hello to all :-) Regards Shep
