  1. I have been a complete tool beyond words! I just reviewed the install guide on the forum, didn't realize it just piggy backed onto the original wiring loom. All removed and working fine now. Thanks for your help guys so sorry to waste your time.
  2. This is what is left in the car, which I am guessing needs to be replaced with the original wiring loom?
  3. I spoke to soon, car has lost all throttle response again. I have now removed all of the D1 controller but have been left with a miscellaneous connector and no throttle at all now. Looking at the images I have found i would think I would need the OEM throttle connector? Not sure of the model number for the Throttle controller as I did not purchase or fit it. The image should help though. Apologies wiring is not my strong point.
  4. Reset the error code and left the throttle controller disconnected and iv had no issues this morning losing power. Thanks for the advise I appreciate it, such a shame the controller has failed its been great fun using it.
  5. Great thanks very much I'll give that a go tomorrow! í ½í± I'll let you know here w I get on.
  6. Hi guys, Just wanted to say thanks for the service and piece mind after a full inspection, very happy. Can you also help, I need a price from a throttle position sensor on a 2003 350z. Car lost all power today and had an error code P2138 l,ll double check that though. I have a D1 throttle controller fitted also, but I'm removing it tomorrow so I can work if it's that or the sensor. Many Thanks ðŸ‘
  7. I bought the car with it fitted but the fitment looks oks good and no spliced wires. Reset the code at lunch but driving home it re-appeared, plan tomorrow is to remove the controller reset the code and see what happens. I really hope it's not a fault in the controller it's so much fun to drive with it fitted, but then again iv not looked at how much a new sensor is.
  8. Hi Guys, I need some help with an error code I found on my 350z this morning. Not really what I needed first thing Monday morning but the car died on a round about and then was very unresponsive when depressing the throttle. I have reset the fault code and the engine management light has gone, but I'm curious if anyone else has had any issues similar. I have a D1 throttle controller fitted and have for the past few days been running her on SP7 (love the throttle response it gives),would this have any impact on this fault occurring? Thanks Guys

  14. Hi everyone, I relatively new to the world of Zeds and I'm still looking to purchase one. However I want to turn to the forum and some more experienced owners/technicians before inquiring about one Ideal car I have seen that has perfect styling for me and looks and sounds stunning. However the big but is it has over 100,000 miles on the clock. Is there anything I should look out for before buying, and are there any issues with Zeds that have gone over the magic 100k? I appreciate any help you guys can give me 😊
  15. Thanks for all the welcome messages I will let you all know what i hunt down and purchase. Mad Dog ill have a look at your add this week and let you know if I can come and see it
  16. Hi guys 😀 My name is Matt and I'm on the hunt for a 350z. It will be my first 350z and my first Nissan. I've trudged around for the past few months hunting one out, however I am so sick of people false advertising, and generally not being honest (that includes trade dealers I have visited). I'm very please to have found a forum which I hope can help me find a well maintained and stunning 350z and offer friendly helpful advise when running one 😊 So to the big question does anyone have a 350z for sale around the Reading area? I really don't mine travelling further a field if the car is right. It would I'm afraid have to be pre 2006 as I know the tax post 2006 is a killer. Thanks and I look forward to getting to know everyone ðŸ‘
