  1. Where in Essex are you mate? I've got a HR and have a Cobra resonated fitted with a Stillen Y pipe and Berk HFCs. Happy to meet up for you to have a listen. Any excuse for a drive and to meet new zedders P.S. bought and had my Cobra fitted by Mitz ^^ I'm near Southend. Where is mitz based? I'm leaning towards resonated. I Think it should be loud enough 😀
  2. Hi guys, looking to upgrade the original exhaust with a Cobra, they seem like good value. Can't decide on res or non-res. I've watched all the videos on youtube trying to compare them but still can't decide! I don't want it to sound boy racey. Is the non-res version more raspy sounding or just slightly louder ? Thanks guys Any recommendations for other exhausts welcome! One more thing, how much does it increase your insurance? I called mine and they said £50 (£25 + £25 admin fee) with esure edit : Its a 2008 HR
  3. I think the oil pressure is normal, I'll have to check what it is at Idle but at 2000rpm cruising its around 60psi
  4. Hi guys, first time owner of a 350z here. Bought it about 5 weeks ago. Loving the car so far, just a couple of issues. Its a 2008 HR with 53000 miles on the clock. Do these cars not like going below 1500rpm? If I'm slowing down and the revs go below 1500rpm, when I apply the gas a few seconds later it seems to judder a bit? I've never experienced this before in any previous cars. The lower the revs, the worse it gets. If the revs go below 1500rpm then I have to release the clutch and apply more gas then re-enage the clutch otherwise it judders/jolts forward sharply. This is only in gears 1-3, if it happens in first gear then it jolts back and forth and does the kangaroo dance. Is this a sign the clutch is on its way out or is it normal? Its hard to explain but it only judders once - then it continues accelerating as normal, I'm not sure if the revs are too low, but in previous cars its normally around 1000rpm when the juddering happens Other issue is around 2000rpm theres a rattle sound coming from the rear of the car, sounds like the exhaust making a rattle. But could be a heatshield or something I guess? I'm going to upgrade the exhaust to a Cobra soon. Thanks http://imgur.com/a/EzANA
  5. ok, it shows it was done by BVRLA - British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association Think it was used as a rental car?
  6. Checking the MOT history - The earliest data is for a test on 24 january 2012 which it failed the MOT. Shows 30,316 miles Reason(s) for failure Offside Front Track rod end ball joint has excessive play (2.2.B.1f) Offside Front Track rod end ball joint dust cover excessively damaged so that it no longer prevents the ingress of dirt Reg is BT58 CPU
  7. So I HPI'd a car I'm going to see. These are the results, Its a 58 plate 350z with 57,000 miles on it. Looks like a nice example DVLA 25/06/2015 52,000 DVLA 19/08/2011 228,000 BVRLA 14/02/2011 25,486 I assume its just a typo mistake of someone adding an extra 2. Would this hurt the resale prospects of this car? Thanks
  8. Thanks guys, didn't know that mot check service existed! Learn something new everyday
  9. Thanks for the advice guys. The one I'm looking at has been owned by him since 2013 so it looks ok. This is what I'm considering at the moment, saving a couple of grand with a 4 owner car or paying the 2 grand extra to get a 1 owner car.
  10. Hi all So I'm looking to buy my first 350z. Is a 4 owner 350z anything to worry about? Or is it better to look for lower owners? I'm looking at 07/57 and 08/09 plate cars. If it has a Full service history does it matter about the owners? Thanks
