If you can travel down, Horsham Developments can't be beaten!. Engine stutters and general running upgrades are their thing!. On the gearbox, clutch release bearings can be noisy on HR's and 4th to 5th is difficult above 6k sometimes even with moly oil (although it does help).

Hi! I am new to this forum but felt I had to post a fix to my high idle fault after cleaning the throttle bodies on my HR engine. You will all be aware that the fault is common but the fix seems to elude everyone on the net etc. All that pedal dancing isn't going to cut it and with throttle bodies being 1087 GBP each and an engine ECU and set up in excess of 1300, panic and hatred of my new car was well and truly setting in. I don't want to knock any of the advice I have been given leading upto the fix, as I'm sure it was all given in good faith if misinformed. Anyway, the long and short of it is that Horsham Developments had my car for 4 hours and in that time Gez the surgeon along with his team of genuinely nice guys, had my car in and repaired for what would have been £530. For an extra £120, I came away with a custom set up and went from 302 FWHP to 319 FWHP running unleaded!!. The ability to carry out this repair in house, I believe would give them employment for the next 10 years judging by the number of people suffering. I would highly recommend the company for their knowledge and professionalism!!. Well done!!
