  1. And of course if you want a set to practice on.... http://www.350z-uk.c...-needs-welding/ haha thanks for the offer, but it'd be much cheaper for me to practice on some random scraps of steel
  2. I thought they were bolted on as there are 4 tip choices. However I think it might be a struggle to find some exact fit burnt ones to replace them as cobra don[t do a burnt tip. i[m guessing (yet to measure) that the pipe is around 60mm. I wonder if the invidia ones fit and if those are available separately. Edit: just seen your edit.. damn it, im going to double check anyway later.
  3. Im tempted to try and find some burnt exhaust tips to replace the standard cobra chrome ones, whats peoples thoughts on this? Im assuming if i find the correct measurement i can just take the old ones off and bolt some new ones on? I'm not sure if it will look a bit tasteless, i guess i could always switch them back. My zed is gunmetal with bronze rota gtrs.
  4. Hello, Picked my zed up 2 weeks ago from another forum member called Justin (not sure on his username.) Its a great car and he was a pleasure to meet. Gunmetal, Gt pack with bronze rota gtr's, cobra exhaust and loads of gadgets and small touches. First little mod, was to change the rear nissan badge for a satin Z one. Im not really planning on modifying it much, just little bits here and there and keeping it running smoothly. Jamie
  5. I am up for it so you can count me in and i also have a local mate who will be up for it. Just as long as its not too far away, im sure we could all meet in the middle somewhere?
  6. Lets do it, I say we just start a generic thread in the Yorkshire board as we need to know where is best for everyone to meet, i don't mind travelling a bit?
  7. Seems like there are a fair few of us scattered around yorkshire, I haven't seen any z dedicated meets put up for a while though. I have actually seen quite a few zeds in the harrogate area since owning one (i guess you are more aware of them once you own one) but i would be up for a meet.
  8. It sounds like your all a bit more sensible than me
  9. Its not that i actually need it, i just find it pretty cool.. haha, maybe its because i'm still giddy from picking up my first zed. My mate says his is set to 6600, does anyone know if there is a perfect shift point on average throughout each gear to get maximum power from the engine though every gear?
  10. I have run a search on this, but cannot find what i'm after, i did find some information on a US forum however. What do people set their shift light to as a maximum? I picked up a 350z on Saturday and the previous owner has it set to 6300, which i haven't changed yet. I would only ever use it as a guide when driving the car faster, I don't really need to know when to shift at normal driving speeds. Thanks
  11. I am in north yorkshire - harrogate if anyone is ever about.
