  1. Im thinking maybe i should run 18s as my car is going to be more of a track car, they are 10.5 rear and 9.5 fronts good condition apart from some very minor marks on the lips, the fronts have a tiny 5mm spacer to clear calipers.

They have new yokohama ad08rs on £900 worth

If not I might buy another set of wheels for track only, I do prefer the look of 19s

  2. As already said, use a all purpose cleaner then the key to getting leather clean is to use a brush to agitate the dirt out, wipe the dirt away and repeat if needed, a white cloth is good to remove the apc as you will see the dirt better, then you can use these so called conditoners if you like the leather smell they leave behind, and then you can use a leather protectant if you wish.

Whilst wipes are okay they may not get right into the grain/ texture of certain leather

pic to prove apc works just fine http://prntscr.com/eipl0l

  3. Sorry guys I forgot about this thread, thanks for all the replies

Okay so my car is just a weekend car and hopefully to be used on a handful of trackdays ( I'm doing raf marham in april )

So the car already has bc coilovers but I have no idea on spring rates, the damping can be adjusted at the top soft/hard

I have had the car fully polybushed with superpro bushes, also new eibach front and rear anti rollbars, and adjustable camber arms front and rear.

Wheels are 10.5 on the rear with 295 30 19 yokohama AD08R tyres and 255 30 19 on the fronts

Kazz 1.5 way lsd , and the usual ds2500 brake pads and race fluid.

When I had the parts fitted I asked for 2 deg camber on front and rear, but I'm wondering if I need to change this (hence post)

Anyway I'm sure I will find out soon enough at marham just how it handles, then I suppose I can get some adjustments done after.

    Thanks Al

  4. Thanks for the replys

I have a FCB on my motortrade policy, the 350 is only about a extra £400 on top which I suppose is not bad, I wish somebody would have told me when I stopped my personal policy as I would just have insured the wifes car,if I ever change from being self employed I guess my car will have to go.

I have been driving since I was 17 with no claims ever, driving is the only thing I have ever been good at lol

    Thanks again Alistair

  5. Okay so im 41 i had about 15 years + no claims, i then went self employed and took out traders insurance, i didnt know at the time that if i didnt have a personal policy still running i would loose all my no claims ( arrrghh )

Now I have always been on the wifes insurance as a named driver, would that mean I do have my 15 + no claims still ?

Reason I'm asking as when I bought my 350z I thought I could insure it under a personal policy easy, but I was told by Adrian flux that they wouldn't even insure me and if they did it would be 4k + ! so I'm a little but peed off as I have insured cosworths and other high risk cars very cheaply.

So I rang my traders insurance and they put the 350 on that policy.

Just thought I would ask regarding being on the wifes insurance for her car.

    Thanks Alistair
