Welcome to the forum Chris, lots of members on here have gone from a Subaru to a 350Z myself included, although I am lucky enough to own both, a white 54 reg impreza sti spec c wr ltd and a black 06 350Z GT coupe, I have owned the spec c for 6 years now and the 350Z since feb, the intention when I bought the 350Z was to sell the spec c but I just cant do it, so for now I'm running both.

Had a full set of them fitted on my z earlier this year and I like them.

Had mine replaced in feb this year, after 3 days they started squealing again so took it back, I was told that its not unusual for new belts to stretch slightly after they bed in, they gave them a tighten and they have been fine ever since.

Unfortunately I work nights so can't make meets during the week, but might be able to do the odd weekend meet.

If your looking at having regular local meets in and around the Surrey area, ( say once a month on a Sunday afternoon ) and want a great venue, then you could try contacting the manager of The Fairmile, Portsmouth Road, Cobham, Surrey, KT11 1BW(01932 807 402) its a large country pub with loads of space and good food, (Surreyscoobies), the Subaru owners club I am a member of use it as a monthly venue as do other car clubs, if they have any spare slots it would be a perfect venue with enough room for 40+ cars on the green to the right of the pub, one thing they will not tolerate though is loads of noise or antisocial driving when arriving or leaving so as long as the club respect this it could be worth a try.

Welcome, I am lucky enough own both a 350Z & a spec c Subaru, but its amazing how many 350Z owners used to own Subaru's.

I seem to recall they changed the law a while back to protect the consumer, so if you buy a vehicle from a motor trader/dealer I'm sure its now law that the trader/dealer has to provide a minimum 3 month warranty.

So much for me not modifying this one, I managed to last a couple of weeks but could resist no more, so had some new 19" wheels & tyres fitted a couple of weeks ago.

:)Thanks for the warm welcome, its good to know there are other members who are as old/older than me, as for my other car its a white 2005 model [on a 54 plate] Subaru wrx sti spec c wr ltd quite a rare car only 1000 made and only 300 app in white and they were for the jdm only, mine has quite few mods on it and is now 355bhp/398ftlb

not sure weather to sell it or keep it to be honest so for now its staying.

Just signed up so thought I had better introduce myself, my name is Danny I'm in the Ashford surrey area, now this may shock a few of you, I'm 60 years old and I own a black 2006 350Z coupe GT, I have only had the car a couple of weeks but have to say I'm smitten with it already, although its not as fast as my other car it is a nice smooth ride and handles well so I'm happy with it, I will have to resist the urge to modify this one though otherwise it will fast become a never ending project that empties my bank account faster than even my ex wife could manage lol, mind you I said that about my other car but the urge won that battle, so that's a bit about me and my motor for now, I look forward to getting to know some of you on the forum.
