  1. Been running with a full set of RS3's all winter and as you say in Scotland it rains most of the time so they are probably the best tyre for the conditions.

Never had any issues with standing water or greasy roads, loads of grip.

Thats good to know, the rear Pirelli's still have about 3.5mm so as soon as they are shot I'll get some RS3's for the rear as well.

  2. VUS are no longer available, I'll be amazed if you can find any. Which is a shame, as I loved them.

RS3s are good, but not really in the same league as big guns. They're more of an MX5 tyre than anything. 453s a better option at that budget, although you'll need to change all four if swapping brands.

Decided on the RS3's as I live in Scotland and wet weather grip is more important than outright warm weather grip.

Shame they dont do the VUS anymore.

  3. Me and MrNiki are just coming up to our 1st wedding anniversary, so you can imagine how many times we get asked 'when are we going to hear the patter of tiny feet'... erm, never!! Neither of us have any interest in children, we both want to have nice things in life, travel the world in a few years and live for ourselves. Nothing wrong with that at all. We both knew from day 1 that was what we wanted.

What really bothers me is when folk keep asking us about children as if its the norm, and then say 'you'll change your mind one day'... I don't ask people why they had kids and tell them they'll wish they had never bothered one day, so why is it acceptable the other way around??

Never feel guilted into it, it's your life to do with as you please. I believe that people who have time to judge/pressure others are lacking in some aspect of their own life.

Couldn't agree more. I don't tell people they shouldn't have had kids so why do they feel the need to ask why I haven't got any. The world is already over populated and I feel it's more selfish to have kids than not to.

  4. Nothing wrong with not wanting kids. I decided at 16 that I didn't want them and now 18 years later at 34 I still don't want them. My fiance has 2 kids and is happy that I don't want any of my own.

  5. Some vans like VW Transporters have rear glass you can see out of but the panel vans do not so you can't see out and have to rely on the side mirrors. I don't think it makes any difference and wouldn't bother informing the insurance company over something like this.

If I had changed the wheels from OEM I would but wouldn't if I chose a different make of tyre.

  6. I don't know what's the matter with people. Why do you suspect the neighbours?

It happened outside my other half's place, my place is 23 miles away so it's not practical to leave there.

The scumbag neighbour with half a dozen kids has a thing for my other half so it was either him that keyed the car or he got one of his kids to do it.

The kids were hanging about the car just before I went out there to fit the RDX stubby.

It's just really annoying that I can't prove it. Mind you even if I saw it happen nothing could be done about it without video evidence.

  7. Fitted a Honda RDX stubby aerial today and noticed that a neighbour had vandalised the Zed.

There's a 4-5ft key mark down the passenger side, it must of happened no more than 30 minutes before I went out there as there was paint dust on the scratch still and there's a bit of a breeze out there.

After I washed it I moved the cars around and put it in the drive way.
