  1. After running just an ARK GRiP cat back for several months I had ART test pipes fitted and then UpRev'd the car. I absolutely LOVE the difference they make. Loud enough to draw attention when you want it, near enough zero drone and easy to live with on a daily basis. Had compliments from all sorts of car people, especially friends who found my exhaust way too quiet with the cats in.

EDIT: Just to be clear, they did up the volume noticeably and definitely changed the tone.

23:06 in the video below was from yesterday as a rough sound guide.

Just spotted myself leaving Simply Japanese... I got cut out cause I wasn't showing off/being a "cool kid"

My car was cold... we all know the drive out of the show is like 2 minutes... so yeah lets beat the @*!# out of the car right? WRONG.

I'm at 20:38 for anyone who cares enough to see my front end :p

My little girl is currently shedding. She's 9 months old and just around 400 grams last time I weighed her ( which is meant to be normal/average ) so I'm happy.
Seeing that 8 year old makes me so excited for when shes fully grown :) Currently shes 75 cm or around 2,5 feet, so should grow a fair chunk more :)

Glad someone rescued her, can't believe someone would neglect her, it's not even like a BP is hard to feed etc - Makes me quite angry.

I love seeing them grow. My first Royal, about 3yrs old, has shed twice in the last 2 months or so and the latest shed is noticeably bigger than the previous.

Excited to see how quickly my little BRB will grow as well.

I think the guy had bought the snake for his young daughter and hadn't taken any responsibility to check on the snakes health or the viv conditions! My original Royal has been super easy to look after. She did go through a phase of not eating at all one winter but never looked unhealthy. She now eats like a champ, isn't shy ever and is a pleasure to look after. :)

  4. Rescued this approximately 8 yr old Royal last weekend! Free for the snake and viv with equipment. Poor thing had no water, loads of poo in the viv and shed skin everywhere. She is now fed, at the right temperature and looking healthier already :)

  5. 4 foot isnt too bad! Go big or go home right? 🤣

Chameleons are pretty funky, I agree with you though. There are so many awesome lizards, if only I had a basement I could convert to a reptile room!

  6. Only to control the moths in the house  . Nah i've got a dog, but had a couple of cats. I keep trying to convince the SO to let me have tropical fish but its not going well.

    The snake is cool though.

Speaking of spiders, I found what I think was a false widow above my bed last week!

My housemates have a house rabbit and a hamster that wizzes around in a ball every evening. I keep reminding them they would be good snake food 😈75f227edc95e0bcba4b12fa4eb251d23.jpg

  7. Reptiles are fine dude, the thread has been cleaned up.

Are you ever tempted by spiders?

    Oh cool thanks :)

I've never even looked into owning spiders actually. Some do look amazing.

Do you have much experience of spiders? A bit different, but many years ago I had stick insects and a mantis.

I did buy the BRB last Saturday, she is gorgeous. Only snapped at me (and sucessfully got me) once! She already seems calmer since Saturday though :)58e58992f812947979113dc66880bf4d.jpgb5d8276aa295bbfc805b6ee9feca6506.jpg

  8. Let my friend drive mine last night and he asked me twice why the car wasnt moving despite being in gear. He simply wasnt lifting the clutch high enough! Im so used to the high clutch that smooth take offs arent tricky anymore

  9. lol! In seriousness though, that photo highlights that those lowered 14mm or more shouldn't consider straddling any dead animals on the road! Looks like my buddy there would make a fair bit of contact with my diff and exhaust! After destroying my bumper of course.

My car is standard height and I had no choice but to straddle a dead fox. My flexis took the brunt of it as well as keeping a fair chunk of the fox on them all the way to work...

Needless to say the stench of hot dead fox was fairly vile.

  10. I've also seen my old CTR Ep3 driving about a few times and it makes me sad. The first time he had been rear ended, the second time he was ragging it (no surprise of course) and the third time he was racing a 5 series on narrow country roads.

  11.

I dropped my 997 turbo off to have a service earlier in the year and it was a bit unnerving seeing the 18 (!!!!) year old mechanic driving off in it afterwards for a road test.

    Jetbike poopants scenario

Don't think I would be overly happy about my Z being driven by a young mechanic let alone a 997 turbo! I would like to think Porsche mechanics may be slightly more professional than a young Nissan mechanic but still...

Haha you'll never forget that moment! I love when bikes fly past, some sound ridiculously good.

  12.

Yes, Mr Keyser drove my Zed from Dorset to Banbury, which should have been 1.5hrs and took 3 due to 4 road closures! He was happy as Larry enjoying my freshly built V8! I was in awe of my own Zed, and loved every minute of it, even though I wasn't driving!

I bet he loved it! I kept glancing in the mirrors and grinning like a kid haha

What is less ace though is sat in the passenger seat while the wife drives it, and the clutch feels different to her qushqai, and its lower wider etc...and she attempts parallel parking :scare:

Haha I can only imagine your aprehension!

  14. I suppose that's a valid point and a better way to think about it. I was viewing it as 'I have spent £100+ on 1 game when I could have had X amount of games for that price' instead of the actual time spent on said game.

I was around 700 hours in by the time I stopped playing Destiny so yeah that's a lot more than your average game.

    Thanks

  15. For the first time since owning my 350z I actually got to witness it being driven by someone else (my house mate), as I needed to get both my work van and Z home from work.

It was a weird feeling but actually hearing and seeing it from an outside perspective made me love it even more. My friend couldnt resist doing a couple of fly byes and revs in traffic on the drive home and my god the Z sounds so good  . Its hard to realise the difference between the cabin noise and the exterior noise

Anyone else had a similar experience?

P.s. it was all fully legal insurance wise

  16. I'm in 2 minds about getting Destiny 2 when it comes out.

I massively enjoyed Destiny when it was released and heavily played it and the first 2 expansions. I met a group of Dutch players I had never met before and we were all hooked; completing all the hardest content, obtaining the best gear and thoroughly enjoying both the pvp and pvm aspects.

I fell out of love with it when further expansions kept coming out (not cheaply either) and rendered my previous 'work' in the game useless.

The scenario above is why I'm hesitant about getting Destiny 2. I dont want to have to spend many times the price of the vanilla game to own the complete game, especially when content was already on the disc I originally bought.

Anyone else feeling the same way?

  17. I like BRB's, colours are amazing, but unfortunately just a bit too big for me at the moment. I'd love a retic :D

I feel like even a big, once fully grown, BRB wont be a handful for me once he/she is 'tamed' as they're pretty thin for a boa.

Retics would be way beyond me! Dont think I would even get a Dwarf Retic actually
