A PB Demolition this weekend at Curborough. Possibly my biggest win to date, in a class of 40 cars on a handicap system (mainly power-weight) Shows the Zed is as good as anything out there pound for pound.

With Scammonden Dam cancelled last weekend due to fire risk I made the long trip to Gurston Down Hillclimb for the first time this weekend. Ironically enough on the Sunday, the meeting was cut short due to (amonst other things) a Fire in the field at the finish line.

Is there much drone with a miltek on the motorway, around 2-2.5k My Cobra has been on a while now and getting close to decibel limit at certain tracks, reads upto 106db whilst it sounds amazing coupled with the rest of my setup, the drone around 2-2.5k can be ear bleeding at times on long journeys. I either have to drop a gear to 5th so 70mph is around 3k or go 80mph+ in 6th, neither is ideal. I dont think swapping the mid pipe back will lose too many horses if any but if the sound and drone decrease should be worth it,

The kw suspension really takes the kerbs well. Its only the last corner that is a risk. 70mph with about 4ft grass before the barriers. Fortune favours the brave.

Still had problems going into 4th so have reverted back to the OE shifter. Now feels much much easier (although more sloppy) going into all gears. I think the coolerworx shifter mounting to the tunnel and not the gearbox means under heavy loads when the gearbox is moving around slightly the rifle precision of the shifter does not marry upto the position of the linkage. never the less, the oil situation remains the same in that I will only be using the redline stuff moving forwards.

£250 inc Royal Mail Tracked 24hr postage. (or can collect from Pontefract, West Yorkshire) Fitted to my car for the last 2 years, does not lend itself to a race application in my view (which is 90% of my use) but feels awesome on the road. Very precise and mechanical gear change. 40% shorter throw than oem and relatively straightforward to install. very good condition as per pictures. does not come with anything else other than the shifter unit itself. I think you re-use existing bolts. Plenty of you-tube videos showing installs.

Its not that far out to be fair. but you can only adjust caster with adjustable top arms as far as i know, you just need to reduce the right side by 0.5-0.75 deg and it will be near as, which you will be able to do with adjustable camber arms that also have caster adjustment. If your on stock upper arms your stuck with what you have.

Sounds like its just come to the end of its life like you have stated. To be honest at 64k it may be on the second clutch in the cars life already, they don’t last as long as other vehicles but thats just a blanket statement, obviously tons of variables involved. I am on my 4th clutch in 20k miles but thats with lots of track abuse. Lots of traders on here can sell/fit or both for you a new clutch disc, flywheel, slave either separate or full kits.

Had my first race event last weekend, around 200 road miles plus track time and no issue. If your not sure what to use, I would recommend this over anything else I have used.
