Hi guys, not much of a poster on here I mainly just do my research and crack on. I'd just like to share my experience on the above as I have tried both in the last month and the difference between them is unbelievable. So to start I ordered the torque solutions gearbox mount last month. Bit of a ball ace of of job if you have a stillen y pipe in the way. Once fitted the first thing I had noticed was the exhaust sound, this had change dramatically, alot more of a raw rough full on sound. This did not bother me too much but then I went for a drive. The gear box noise was very load, it wined like a supercharger and gear changes were very loud, however the actual gear change was a lot smother over the standard mount. All of the above I could cope with but then I got the car above 3000 revs, I was sure I had done something wrong. The vibration from the car was horrendous, the only way I can describe it is it felt like I was driving around with a square flywheel. So instantly checking over my work and not being able to find any problems I ordered the vibraTechnics mount. Due to being lazy this sat in the garage for a month and I just got by with the torque solutions mount. The weekend just I gone I decided I had to stop being lazy and get it fitted. Well what can I say, it's bloody amazing. There is no additional noise what so ever and no additional vibrations. Gear changes feel smother than ever and there is alot less wheel hop when spinning up the rears. The car feels so much more responsive. Just though I would give a heads up on the products and it'll be interesting to see other peoples opinion on the torque solutions mount.

Hi guys i dont know if the search is not working but it isnt for me. Im doing my rear wheel bearings at weekend so im just after the rear hub nut size. Am i right thinking its a 36mm socket job

I do have oem rays just looked at specs i thougt it was just the same wheel but works out i was wrong. I have got the 225 on the front and 245s on the rear so unless they have been mixed up in the past. Previouse owner on a tire change or somthing and ive not noticed . Ill have to have the wheel of and make sure its the 8j

I did the front then back separately so unlikely but i thought they were the same size anway just different tyre sizes. And i thought the only alignment ajustable on the front was toe

Happy newyear guys. Fitted my coilovers yesterday and i seem to know have a bit more poke on one side than the othere. The front ride hight is about the same as ive got 25mm spacers on the front. If i look at the car head on it looks like ive got 5mm to 10mm more tyre sticking out on the near side. Any thoughts

Just in two minds. Might drag it out till just after xmas. Its not to bad clutch judder can get annoying after a spirited drive and the clutch sticks for a few secobds if i launch it hard but day to day its ok

Ryt my cluch is on its way out so looking around the extream from clarck seems the best option. Looking at the organic kit. Poped into lockwood and greenwood today and asked for a fitting price. They said 220 with oil wich seems alright. One thing that put me off was that he fitted a padle cluch last year on a z and the lad burnt it out in 1 day driving it in snow . Bad driving or bad workmanship. Just kind of put me off abit but they seem highly regarded on here

Hi ive had some alloys offerd me ex display 19 x 8.5 and 19 x 9.5 et 35. Im currently running standard rays on a 25 n 30mm spacers. Will these allys fit ok. Any advice appreciated

Fitted them today and they both run when the air con is on or when the temps get high. All in all im happy with them they do the job and no more overheating ðŸ‘

Defiantly plug and play. Does this put both on when one should be on though. I thought thats why peaple were rewiring so they work independently

Got 2l of coolant from nissan after reading what coolant to use. Do you thibk 2 will be enuff after removing the top hose

My mishimoto fan kit as arrived as my fans have packed in. Ive read that the top rad hose has to come off the get the fans in and out. Does anybody know? How much coolant ill loose What coolant i need And will i need the bleed the system with it only being the top hose Plus why on earth do the fan kits have plugs if you have the wire it up

Its realy easy to go throught the original rubber and plug. Just do a search for new speaker wire to doors theres plenty of guids online

mine was to small aswell i made the plate it sits in from a fiesta vent pod. Also i used a cable tie to get it throught the rubber. Put a zip tie trought door end first then tape the wire to it and pull back through

Glad you posted a pic of urs i had just orderd an adapter from demon tweaks and selected short. Just sent them a email to try and change to long as i dont want the sensor interfering with the flow in the oil gallery
