  5. Hello people , I just bought an ecm for my nissan 350z 2003 jdm and they sent me a slightly different one - the last four digits are different , will it work in my car ? Here is my ecu part number : PL. MEC31-570 E2 3205 Here's the part number they sent me : PL. MEC31-570 E2 2717 I just spoke to nissan dealer and they couldn't answer if it will work and can be recorded as they have never recoded a used ecu !!!! Thanks lee

  7. Problem is still there even with the new board in . It's doing my head in !!!!! Any other ideas ?
  8. Old problem that still causing me grief , Originally bought with electrical problem NO THROTTLE ! Anyway I changed the pedal sensor and throttle body / sensor and nothing then we took looked at the fuse board and it looked like it may have had a bit of water behind the relay , my mechanic stripped the throttle relay down and tripped the relay and it reved up for the first time , So he said by a new fuse board which I did . I fitted it and the problem didn't go away even with a new board . Very confused now . We have put a new engine in and now got to work out this problem out again . Anyone got any ideas what can now be causing this . The fault codes are the same from before . Thanks lee.
  9. Morning all , I thought I solved the problem but obviously not ! I took the throttle relay apart and tripped the relay and it reved , so looked behind the board and it looked as if the board had a bit of water corrosion on it as it was slightly green behind the relay any way ordered a new fuse board and fitting it and guess what it still don't Rev !!!! It's very strange so I'm thinking it must be a wire behind the throttle relay that's faulty between the throttle relay and the ecm . Anyone heard of that ?
  10. Ok will do I thought he might be the man haha Just got to work out how to pm Cheers
  11. Solved the p1222 problem and p1226 and it's the throttle relay in the fuse box not working correctly , it looks as tho it's corroded in the board pins . So I need a new board with Serial number : 0899 3b05 284b7al505 Does anyone have any for sale that match please ? Thanks lee.
  12. Found the fault now finally !!!! It is the IPDM E/R board faulty !!! Thanks for all the messages
  13. Nice 1 mark , I will try that . But I have twisted the harness before and it didn't do anything but I will look deeper into that as that's were my problem will most likely be . These seems a bad buy at the money considering the engine change that it needs too , I don't Kmow how much that's going to cost to install haha.
  14. Actually looking at it I done Throttle Valve Closed Position Learning Idle Air Volume Learning (Throttle Position Learning) Accelerator Pedal Release Position Learning But not the ecu reset ! But I disconnected the negative battery terminal and thought that would do it Do I need to also do the Ecu reset ? Cheers
  15. I think it is in limp mode but my mechanic cleared the codes on his snap on . Is there another way to get it out of limp mode ? Cheers Lee
  16. Yes but I have a bigger problem the head gaskets have gone too so I have another engine but my mechanic won't fit the engine until the electrical problem is sorted , as it will do the same with new engine in . The radiator was blown when I bought it and didn't realise so I put a new one in and feared the worst and within 10 minutes it over heated The geezer done me up big time but hay ho just got to carry on I suppose . Cheers I will let you know if I need an Ecu
  17. Today I changed the throttle body and done re learns ect and guess what --- nothing it's still the same Either my ecm is bad or there must be a bad wire in the harness from the throttle body . Anyone got any ideas ? Thanks
  18. Right I have replaced the throttle pedal and sensor ect . Done throttle reset and throttle open close procedure . Now I have a the lights on still but I'm actually getting a little response from the accelerater pedal , it's actually responding going up to 1500 rpm when foot is to the floor so my mechanic plugged his snap on diagnostics in and the two fault codes have gone and now I have two different fault codes that wasn't there previously . The codes are : P1122- ETC PERFORMANCE PROBLEM P1126- ETC MOTOR OPEN CIRCUIT/THERMOSTAT FUNCTION . The throttle body is not opening when I put my foot down could this be the problem do you think ? Thanks lee.
