  1. Personally I like A the most out of that selection as they look pretty elegant for stock wheels. Option C imo are just hideous. If you feel like spending money and are going to get another set I would go with a set of WORK 2 piece rims with some stepped lips. Just realised you have bought some already
  2. I forgot just how much of a pain in the ass car hunting was! Literally no black 350's have come up in the last few weeks that tick all the boxes Trying to remain patient before I lose it and buy a grey one...or an S2000 haha
  3. I pay annually as well which tends to make it a lot cheaper..
  4. I'm currently with Admiral, I had an MR2 turbo and was around £470 a year with mods declared and when I looked at a 350 there I'm up at £670. I'm quite worried about this black box carry on as is doesn't state I will need one? How do you find that out? I am also 23, 4 years no claims. Maybe try Tesco, they have always been cheap for my friends..
  5. My budget is against me on the HR front unfortunately. A well kept pre 06 GT will have to suffice!
  6. Car sold, The hunt begins, shame there are not many black pre 06's around at the minute
  7. To the 350z owner, All the pre 06 350z GT's with a max of 75k on them go for between 6-8k. Without the wheels my car is worth £5,200. I have a potential buyer coming on Saturday, so may be on the hunt sooner than later. I have also seen a 350z that I like
  8. WORK Equips on the front and SSR Leon Hardiritt on the rear I believe.
  9. Ok thanks How could you tell it doesn't have a Bose system? The head unit looks like the factory Bose one..
  10. Ok potentially could have the MR2 sold on the weekend, I have seen a car that I like however having trouble determining if it is a GT model...is doesn't mention it anywhere in the description. It has a black leather seats, cruise control, Brembo brakes...doesn't say if it has the bose system...has sat nav. Again no mention of Xenon lights, the description is pretty poor if I'm honest so here's the link... http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201508015692452?model=350_z&onesearchad=used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew&search-target=usedcars&postcode=fk83ed&colour=black&make=nissan&page=1&channel=cars&radius=1500&sort=default&logcode=p
  11. Cheers for the comments guys, appreciate it.
  12. Fair play man, good luck with the sale - as Ekona says, your IMOC boys seem to think its worth the money so Im not going to argue. However, when it comes to wheel enthusiasts: That was my cellar about a year ago - at the same time I had a set of Gram Lights 57f fitted to my Onevia, SSR Type C and Gewalts on my driftcar and this on my driveway: If the set on my 350 arent worth £1800, Im pretty sure yours arent either. BTW, they are usually called stepped lips, I didnt take a close enough look and thought they were DDCs. Definitely more desirable but I sold a mint set of 10x18's for less than a grand last year. I appreciate you are into your wheels, Equips are one of the most sought after style of JDM split rim, 17" stepped lip or baby face whatever you like are actually quite rare. Most I have seen go for a grand and are in need of refurbishment so I don't feel my price is unreasonable considering they come with nearly new Michelin Pilot Sports. They may of course not be suited to 350z owners as they are 17". Anyway, I just thought I would post up the car as I am eager to get a 350z and thought there might be someone with something close to what I am after and looking for a change themselves. Cheers, Ross
  13. The panel gaps seem all over the place...especially around the doors, are you sure this has been damaged repaired? lol
  14. Hey man, Understood the top price is steep, this is reflected in the newly refurbished WORK Equips, they are actually quite a rare style of Equip (babyface) and if you look closer you will notice they are not DDC lips. Refinished in satin silver (powder coated) with polished lips. All bolts replaced with new WORK bolts, valves and stainless serrated nuts. Balanced and fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 3's. These wheels have been used for around 4 months since refurbishment and are in excellent condition, the tyres have seen around 1500-2000 miles. The car is a lovely example, good spec, low mileage and is absolutely worth £5200 on standard wheels. The Equips I appreciate may have to be sold separately but I thought I would offer them as personally they look great on the car. £1800 for a set of WORK Equips in excellent condition with nearly new premium tyres is not utter madness, perhaps to you it is but to a wheel enthusiast who appreciates the rarity and costs involved refurbishing 3 piece split rims it is not. At no point did I say straight swap, I said work out a swap...maybe I should have been more specific, I meant that I could part exchange + cash. Here is a link to the advert if anyone would like to look http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=186472 Cheers, Ross
  15. Really excited to own one of these, was watching videos on youtube and that V6 soundtrack is just incredible. Also is black a rare colour for these? I don't see that many up for sale in comparison to say silver...I thought black would be very common :/
  16. Hi all, If this is in the wrong section then please move it. I will soon be in the market for a pre 06 350z... black (may consider grey) UK GT specifically, with Rays wheels and a maximum of around 75,000 miles (I'm picky, I know) Would anyone like to work out a swap for my well kept MR2? Part exchange + cash is possible. 1995 Revision 3 Turbo GT Spec T-Bar Steel Mist Grey 75,200~ Please see advert for full details: http://www.imoc.co.u...ic.php?t=186472 P H O T O G R A P H S £7000 on the WORK Equips and £5200 with standard wheels. I can link anyone interested to my for sale thread but I don't want to step on anyones toes by posting it publicly, feel free to PM me. Cheers, Ross
  17. Check for rust as you would on any car but specifically rear wheel arches as that's were it will be most likely. Buyers guide: http://www.350z-uk.c...6-buyers-guide/ Guide for new members/potential owners: http://www.350z-uk.c...tential-buyers/ 350Z service schedule (useful for when you look at 350's to check if the service history is up to date & things have been done that should have been according to miles/age of the car): http://www.350z-uk.c...ule-for-a-350z/ Awesome!! Thank you
  18. Thanks for the welcome comments! I will hopefully have my car sold in the next few weeks and I will start my hunt properly. Are there any common rust areas to look out for with 350's? Common faults etc? If there is a link even to a buyers guide that would be great, thanks.
  19. Hi all, I am currently an MR2 Turbo owner however after contemplating many cars, 180sx Type X's, Rx7's, Evo's etc I have decided to put the MR2 up for sale and will be looking specifically for a well kept, near stock black GT spec 350z with upto 75,000 miles. Hopefully something pops up in the coming weeks and if anyone on here knows of one that fits this criteria that's coming up for sale soon please send them my way! Looking forward to owning a 350z, it's been on the list for a while! Ross
