Not had a chance to play with it, too much other stuff going on in life.
Diff bearings are pressed on to the Quaife, and I sold my old 20vt engine so the diff is on the engine stand but that is it.
Hopefully get some car time again later this year.

Will have a Pre owned Procharger C2 complete kit and supporting mods available soon.
How much assuming the OP is not interested?
No prices as yet mate.
Please check back in about 4 weeks time or see the For Sale section end of June.
Hi Alex, just wondered if you had a price for the supercharger kit now?
thanks
-
HKS SC maybe recoverable - cheap if you fancy it PM me for more details.
Interested, PM sent.

As above, what can you afford?
I have a mate who raced Caterhams, it was costing about £1000/event.
Initial car cost
trailer
tow car
tools
spares
tyres
brake pads
Also expect semi regular
Engine rebuild
gearbox rebuild
Wear rate is massive compared to road work, everything is getting hammered.
Also when it gets binned, if you cant afford somebody else to drive into the side of you and wreck the car in the first race....
Hillclimbs can be cheaper to get into if you are in a road class, also if there is a road class time attack series near you.
Still normally need
licence
suit
helmet
then your consumables
Being competitive can become expensive quickly, eg front runners with a new set of tyres per 20 min race! Engine rebuild every season etc.

I recently had http://www.coilsprings.co.uk/ make me custom springs for my trials bike, excellent service, price and lead time as quoted, springs as requested.

Seats look great!
Tight seats might be a good method of weight control, cant fit in the car, time for a diet
Do you know what suframes you used? Some of the subframes put the UK drivers seat higher than the passenger.

Steering wheel looks tidy.
Have you done this before?
Is the material stuck on as well?
-
How much power do you want and how much do you want to spend?
NA tuning (rough stages)
Decats
Plenum spacer
Exhaust
Headers
Cams
Valvesprings/retainers (and wilder cams)
Full NA engine build
You can throw a couple of grand at it to get 310bhp, or spend a few more and get 350-400 with boost.
If you went for the Jun stroker kit, 8.4:1 comp ration would not be great on an NA car!

Interesting intake manifold
-
Drivers side seat subframe is a PITA due to the raised inner rear mount, depending on the width of your seat you might be able to drop it down the side? Mine then hit the door though.

I went through a couple of mock ups

Will you do any trackdays (so need room for a helmet)?
-
Oh and as its Tuesday, whats the car like now?
-
Oh, there was a lump under the sub that stopped the seat going back far enough.... So we took a sledge to it and removed the problem
Sounds like a satisfying solution!
-
Did you keep the raised seat mount or cut it out? (the rear one closest to the transmission tunnel)
-
How tall are you?
Some of the 350z seat subframes put the seat quite high!
-
Still not tinkering with the 350z, collecting parts slowly though
HR exhaust manifolds, 370z decats and HR cats (for bolt in MOT, or if it drones)
Wasso plenum spacer
-
Hey, interested in the diff stuff- I'm not sure if its the width of the 370z tyres or different diff butt the rear end of the 350z seemed more manoeuvrable.
What kind of diff does the 370z have?
-
Are you power hungry or just want a newer car?
I would want my new car to be a lot better, not just a bit better.
-
Find a local upholster who does car seats.
-
If the price is right, and the car is good its fine.
I prefer to buy a cat C/D un repaired, so you can see its pre accident condition and repair it properly. Or if it is fully documented as above.
Some yards will partially straighten written off cars so they do not appear as bad.
If you are keeping it long term and its cheap, or cheap enough to break when you are done with it its ok, but it can be a hassle to sell as everybody will offer you less, and many buyers will not entertain in.
VIC (Vehicle Identity Check) has now been discontinued.
As an aside many cars are damaged and repaired with no write off and nobody is any the wiser.

You will also need ramps to get in and out the container.
My boss kept his Caterham in one over winter, easy to climb out the top though!
There is also ots of condensation in the container.

If you want to play with the ECU software you can dump the bin, convert to hex, then you can have a look.
