It has a misfire. Gutted today. I have swapped the coil packs and spark plugs but it stayed on the same cylinder. Did a compressions test and that was ok. Think it's the injector so I've just ordered one off eBay for £13.95. Hope this sorts it. I can put the front panel and bumper on once I know it's ok.

Yeah I've read your post wasso. Would you do anything different if u were doing it again. I'm installing mine in the cubby.

I've just begun a iPad mini 2 dash mount install while I waited for my engine to be delivered. I found a iPad mount on eBay for £80 with best offer. I eventually won it for £60. I have set about cutting my OE cubby and trim. Fibreglass sing and filling. Just at the primer stage now. I have purchased a Xcarlink to supply the OE radio with the iPad sound but have now found that the unit only supports the USA market. My plan now is to remove the OE radio with a pioneer Bluetooth head unit and link the iPad through that and hopefully keep the steering controls. Will post some pictures later.

Will get some pictures up soon. Few other things I found along the way. The seats only go backwards í ½í¹ˆ tilt or adjustment. The manifolds (DC) don't fit with the engine in place.

I have always wanted a 350z and been looking for a while. I bought a 350z a few weeks back with a damaged engine. I bought it totally bind with only a handful of pictures. I had it picked up with a trailer. The following day I looked at it and confirmed the engine had seized. But i needed to know why so I removed the engine and stripped it down. I found that one of the shells had welded to the crank meaning the engine was behond repair. I started searching for an engine, here, eBay and breakers. Finally finding one. It finally turned up this week and today I started to put it in. I got it to start with no exhausts at about. 19:00. I am now absolutely buzzing with excitement to get back too it tomorrow.

how is your system now wasso is there anything you wish you did differently or revered not doing. or are you totally happy. I'm just in the process of starting my iPad mini install. I hope my is half a good as yours. I'm planning to put mine in the cubby as I don't have sat NAV.

by the look of it I think I will have to buy a single din head unit and Bluetooth it through the radio

I have a friend at nissan that could code it just didn't want to buy one if it totally non compatible. How can people sell them on eBay if there is no chance of it working.

Brining this post back alive. í ½í¹€ if I was to purchase an American HU. With the external cd plug. Would this be compatible with my wiring loom.

Hi I'm in need of a 2004 350z engine. my current one appears to have run dry of oil and seized. Do you know any one suppling a decent engine obviously for the cheapest price. or does anyone know if it can be rebuilt? thanks Rich
