Had them fitted earlier today, god they sound good! I just wondered if they need any sort of settling in period before giving it a thrashing?

Well this is why I asked, I didn't just want to go mixing stuff togetherFor £15 and possibility of doing long term damage to the engine? I would drain it all and fill with new genuine Nissan coolant. Doesn't take that long.
I did mine couple of years ago...just done some research prior to that on how to change and bleed coolant and was done in like 1-2hrs without any issues.

Well I've read it's a big job to drain the block and bleed the system, so I thought for £15 I'd just drain the rad and top it up with some fresh stuff. Maybe I'm mistaken?I'm looking at changing my coolant, not the full system, just draining the radiator and refilling. I will use genuine stuff, but it looks like what's already in there isn't the same? Is it a bad idea to potentially mix two coolants together?

Why would you just drain the radiator coolant and not the whole system ?. Not having a go, just seems pointless imo.

Had this fitted now. Gear changes are much nicer and smoother. Revs up a hell of a lot quicker too!

I have noticed they make a slight hissing noise at certain revs, i dont know if this is normal?
