  1. It could be that one of the slider pins or padd plate (I dont know the technical name, but its the piece of metal that sits above the padd under each pin under tension) isnt seated correctly, causing movement when braking. I found that when I reassembled my calipers that id positioned it incorrectly. Easy job to sit there and reassemble everything ☺

Yeah it sounds like a thin piece of metal twanging so you could be right. I'll take them apart when I get some free time. Fingers crossed.

  2. Looked back a bit and couldn't see anything on the forum apart from something on the American forum about the ABS sensor. Had a complete brake disc & pad change all round (mtec & yellow stuff) including braided lines. Under hard braking when coming to a halt. Doesn't seem to affect braking but obviously can't be right. Any ideas?

  3. So they are proposing a 1.8m tunnel under the heritage site. Am I the only one to be ecstatic with this news in the Wiltshire area? Haha. So childish but everyone loves a loud exhaust or great engine in a tunnel! Won't be for a long time because of the opposition and length of time to make. Living in Bournemouth but family in Chippenham so would use this regularly!

  4. Yeah this can be a sore subject among members ha. I've got one and love it. Flooring it is always fun. You're lucky to have level tailpipes too! Will buy another as previous owner didn't take care of it so it's a bit pitted. Clean it an protect it is my advice.
