Just realised you have a 370 oops and realised I clicked on the 370 section...
-
If the last was a p2 (m2) then ide think at that mileage it would be due a p1, presuming its already had a p3 in its life. Just had my service done last weekend (p1) and im on 47,000 miles. Next one will be a major for me

Dont think the 08 HR at 6000 is a legit price. Ive checked them this week as I always want to know if mine has gone down in value or not. Theres a couple that look far to good to be true, then at the other end you have dealers pricing them at around 12,000. A 2008 HR with low miles is still at least 10,000+

Try AnyVan, I used them for all of the deliveries we cant make and you can pick and choose the prices you receive. It also features specialist couriers who will take extra care

Good spot! I actually didnt know it made an appearance in this one. Looks so futuristic and new compared to a lot of the other cars in that scene!

Spotted you twice last week. Passed you just before Ashfield school and you gave me a wave and also spotted you the day after in Lammas seisure centre car park (providing it was you),
Hey whoever you are anyway mate!

Jonty, is it you that drives down the a46 past Newark at 4pm-ish during the week?
Not me im afraid mate, dont go that side of Nottinghamshire much, im based about 20 mins from Mansfield near the M1.
Try Mitz at Cougar Store.
Just down the road in Leicester, Z specialist and well regarded trader on here.
Also a great place to meet other Z owners.
Thanks for the recommendation mate, Mitz has sent me a PM so I will get in touch, thanks!

Hey all,
My Z is due its first service under my ownership, but Im not sure of the best place to take it. My cars an 08 and has just hit 47,000 miles. I have received an online quote from Nissan to get it serviced at the Nottingham dealership for £370!! Could any of you guys recommend somewhere in my area or alternatively somewhere close by that could do it? It was last serviced by the previous owner at Horsham Developments 5,000 miles ago (1 year) but this is quite a drive from me,
Thanks

If thats the case it may be drive line related as in prop, drive-shaft, wheel/ hub assembly etc.
Could still be the DMF though
This assuming its not suspension related and making a noise as you go over undulations in the road.
Need to be on a smooth service to make sure
Thanks for your reply mate. It does do it on a flat surface (drive way) at very low crawling speed. As I said its only when moving at low speeds and I cant here anything when sat idle.
Im just hoping that this isnt to much of a costly issue to fix. The noise does seem to come from the very centre of the underside of the car so cant imagine it would be suspension or hub related.
-
Does it do it when not moving if you dip the clutch up and down?
What about bringing the clutch up to the bite point with the handbrake on so you load it a bit. Does it make a noise then?
Thanks for your reply mate. It doesnt do it when stationary nor does it do it with the handbrake on, only when moving or crawling

Hi all,
So the other night after coming back from a bank holiday trip I noticed a hollow knocking sound coming from under the car. Ive been listening for it over the last couple of days whilst driving and have noticed it only occurs at very low speed (below 15mph) when I dip and release the clutch, around the biting point basically. You cant here it at higher speeds but it is causing me some concern as to what It may be. The car is an 08 and has only done 45,000 miles so ide like to think it wasnt a clutch problem! Has anyone ever experienced this or know what it could be? The car is due for a service in October so if possible I may wait until then to fix it if not serious,
Cheers

Spotted this Z twice last week, once when going through Brinsley and then two days later parked in Eastwood Hall car park!
-
Heard a Cayman giving it the beans recently in a local car park. I did laugh to myself as:
1. The car sounded know where near as good as my Z imo
2. My car costs half the price and will be as quick

Oh wait these are Linear Corse wheels right?! Ive been looking at these for a while, ive only just clicked on haha
Always wondered how these would fit on a UK car as ive only ever seen them on US models. Having seen yours it definitely fills me with confidence!

What an absolute scumbag!! Sorry to here this mate! What motive does he have for doing such a thing?! Especially when hes new to the area, words fail me

Im no expert, but have read countless times that having a 35 profile all round on 19'' Wheels is the closest match to factory rolling radius.
it depends on the width of the tyre
245 / 275, so ive been told

Anyone going japfest 2?
Most likely mate
Looks like this thread ran out of steam.
I'm in Notts and would fancy a meet.
Yeah it would be good Rich. Spotted an 07 Silver 350z Coupe with Black Rays(?) at the A38 round about last Wednesday night

Have a look under the car your bushes may have failed.
Check my thread as I have the same issue
I will check for similar symptoms in the morning mate
-
Thanks for the feedback guys! The car is stock height but I know it did have bushes replaced on its last service at Horsham Developments, that was less than 3000 miles a go!

Really sorry to here this mate, sods law indeed!

Hi Guys,
So recently as the weather has been better and I have driving around with the windows down, I have noticed an intermittent squeaking noise coming from the drivers side of the car. It tends to occur when doing around 30mph (maybe higher but the engine and wind drowns out any other noise). I did think that it was maybe a suspension issue but It doesnt occur when going over sharp bumps in the road or when turning. It also doesnt happen on every drive, so Im really not sure what it could be. Any suggestions guys?
Thanks

Sorry I'm late to the party but how far did you get with this Jonty?
Loving those Linear Corses and I'm thinking of 19", 9 up front and 10 back but looking for tyre advice. What would you guys recommend so the walls don't look too rolled back? Payco's set up looks about right but I know he's running half an inch wider at the front?
255/35/19 front
275/35/19 rear
is closest to factory rolling radius
Also Stevo, I saw your car throttle spotted picture and wondered what wheels are on your car? Love the look of them

Hi mate, welcome to the forum!
There are plenty of specialists on the forum who supply all kinds of cosmetic and working parts for (Cougar Store, Tarmac Sportz etc), If they dont have it, its always worth asking them where the part can be found.
As for another site, I looked on eBay for ages when I was looking for my car. In the end mine was off of Auto Trader but eBay does have a lot of Z's for sale. Its also worth mentioning there are plenty of new and used parts for sale on there.
Hope this helps in some way mate.
