  1. Thanks, for the heads up, being a long long time rear wheel drive man both with road and racing cars I have experienced this many times. I would be very interested to know where I can get the poly bush kit for the rear and probably for the front and any other tweeks and tips available without going the solid bush route. The supercharged Z from my brief ownership up to now is what ever you want it to be, very drivable in any conditions or situations but when unleashing the horses it stuggles a bit to get the power down. I also have Tein electronic damping which I havent played with yet so maybe going for the stiffest rear setting would also help. Like I said before, great car and I would HIGHLY recommend it.
  2. Wheel bounce/shudder under hard acceleration when tyres start to lose grip and wheels start spinning, felt it in 1st 2nd and 3rd so far.
  3. Is the passenger door eyeball vent still available, if so shipping would be to Fraserburgh Aberdeenshire. Cheers
  4. Hey, I have just bought a supercharged (HKS) Z and also own a Stuart Taylor Aries with Yamaha R1 engine, 495kgs all in with fuel. Going up for sale in the New Year by the way. I have used the kit car mainly for track days at Knockhill for the last 4 years, amazing car, direct, super nimble and a giant killer. The Z feels very quick but not had a chance to really try it out properly yet, will be taking it to Knockhill next year (anyone going next year look for the Azure blue supercharged Z and come over and say Hi) but hope to get a trip to the ring to really try it out. I think it will be more suited to the higher speeds than the twists of Knockhill. Two different animals really and not fair to compare them. Only real issue with the Z is a lot of tramping at the rear which I hope there is a cure for. Looking to sell the kit car to keep the Z long term now, better all round useable car that will still put a smile on your face. I would definately recommend one even after only owning mine for a couple of months and spending half my time offshore not getting to drive it. Plus point for me is the wife loves the Z and hates the kit car and seems to swear a lot and question my parentage when I am scaring her around Knockhill in the kit car.
  5. Hi All, Home tomorrow after 2 weeks offshore, can't wait to get home to the Z after only a few hours ownership before leaving to come offshore. Will take some more under bonnet photo's and list full spec once I finally know. Going to be looking for a set of winter wheels and tyres to take the 20"s off if anyone knows of any. Cheers Steve
  6. Long shot but just bought a Z and joined the forum, if still for sale I will give you £200 posted. Cheers
  7. Thanks for all the welcomes, Some photo's of my car (if they open), not sure exactly what I have yet, will find out full spec when I get home from offshore, I know previous owner so will get full details of car in a couple of weeks. Let me know if photo's don't open and I will try to upload them again through photo bucket.
  8. Just went to a garage to look at a car for my dad and got side tracked and 2 hours later I was the owner of a 2005 blue 350Z, car has only covered 29,000 miles is sitting on 20" rims, Tein electronic damping, uprated clutch and HKS supercharger. OMG I am in love, 3 hours after purchase I was away to head offshore for 2 weeks so missing it already. Looking forward to ownership and spending time on the site.
