  1. This is the one I bought. The picture is generic and it doesn't look like that, its actually the perfect size for my plate which is 5 characters with an 11mm border.

I might have my exhaust up for sale depending on what I do, if you're interested you're welcome to test it before you buy, it doesn't take long to fit :)

    Tempting

not sure how it will effect my warranty though :p

  3. I ended paying £699 all in on both cars. I could get slightly cheaper but with lesser companies or cover. It broke down to £400 for 350Z using 10 years NCB (they only count 5 though) and £299 for my 1.9 TDi Passat using 0 years NCB. That covers my mods and protected no claims (for whatever that's worth but was only an extra £1). That's with Admiral insurance (the first quote I got).

I tried ALL the traders on here, and they all wanted to close to, or more than I'm paying for both cars  and that was before I added my mods!. I'm 33, 16 years passed, all my 10 years NCB was on a sports cars, clean licence, no convictions, restrictions or anything like that and a good postcode.

£266 on a 370z! That's a great price. I'll try Privilege myself. My policy doesn't start till the 2nd. Maybe I should add my Dad as a 2nd driver, because I'm still paying too much if you're paying that much Or is it cheaper to insure a 370z??

I asked why it was that cheap. The guy said because there's only a few hundred in the country and no one crashes them. Sounded like a challenge. Lol.

Not sure what it would've been without my parents on the policy but I always add them as I leave my car with them when I'm offshore.

  4. I called Adrian flux for my Jeep last year. They were 3 times more expensive than aviva who I went with. What's that all about? I just insured my 370z with Privilege. 6 years no claims, 30 yrs old, clean licence, Parents on policy too plus a slight reduction as I have home insurance. Total £266 for the year. Bargain.

  5. Good to hear that the guy is good.

I was hoping to mount it in front of the stereo some how. As I wouldn't need to use the stereo when I'm using the tablet connected to Bluetooth. Will see what's best when I actually get the car. Next weekend will be a busy one.

Do you have a link for the plate holder? I sent demon plates an email. Hopefully I will get my plate document through within the next couple if weeks.

  6. No way!!! That is the exact one I test drove before getting mine!! I even have a picture of it from when I took the test drive!

Your car is responsible for me falling in love with the 370s haha!

Haha. Hope it was good. Not even driven it myself yet.

Is that the BoD garage? It's currently up in Altens.

Earlier in the thread you were looking for a double up photo shoot. Happy to assist once I get my motor. You can give me some mod pointers too :teeth:

Do you have a link for the place you got your reg from. I have a private plate. Been looking for a short one for a while.

    Cheers
