  1. I recently had a similar discussion with VWFS, originally i wasn't going to buy the car, so rang up to add extra miles (only 12k miles over in 2 years lol) but have since decided I want to buy the car, final payment will take into account the fact i've paid extra for more miles. However if you've already decided i wouldn't bother as others have said.

  2. Loving the black and red, got a 5.0 fastback on order, should be here for March \o/

Good choice. Welcome to the club! Are you on mustang6g.com? Check out the UK section

I'm not yet, I looked previously and it seemed quite busy and harder to read, tho now i want to change a few bits I might sign up for some info :)

  3. Please can you quote me shipping to greece for the speedo? I really need it. Thanks v much. I have a very worthy project, rescuing a horribky abused Z, the muppet previous owner got dome dog sh1t white dial backings from somewhere which look very nice in the day (apart from the little stickers to show which warning lights are which, don't ask me why), but at night you quickly realise they are virtually transparent, making the dials just a mess of red and orange light; turning on an indicator lights up the interior green, it's awesome, like being at the disco. :)

Aww sorry dude, someone PM'd last night reserving them :( That sounds quite horrific visually, hope you get it sorted soon

  4. Apologies for the noob questions but is the thermal spacer best intended for the revup engine? Is this the kit with the coolant isolation valve? I have an 05 DE so poss interested in this, but don't know whether to just wait for the next h-dev group buy.

Not entirely sure tbh, i'll dig the box out and get the parts out tmrw and check for you, this is the kit i ordered:

I basically told Adrian "I need a plenum spacer kit for my rev-up" :)

  5. With my Z now sadly gone I'm having a clear out of parts that never got fitted, aside the gauges all have remained in their boxes.

  6.

Well the car will be a pool car for the family and it's really between the RS and a V8 Mustang ... either of which will be new and both are on 12 month delivery at the moment

12 Months? I got quoted 7 last month when i ordered mine, although I pushed that back till April for tax reasons. Sod the Focus, not that much of a jump above the Golf R (R is probably the better daily) imho get the Mustang :D Unless you need to transport passengers in which case get something else as the rear seat is a joke :D

  7. Was nice to see some Z's even tho it makes me sad mine's stuck on the drive still :D

    What's wrong with your Z?

DVLA d**king around, lost my registration forms, then had loads of back and forth. Joy of importing

Hoping it's all sorted this month

  8. Although I agree with a lot that's been said, and also being an older driver, I think there is a need to quantify, as all drivers are NOT equal, there are both good and bad drivers at any age, however a basic driving skill and hazard perception test should be applied to all over a certain age, and more of an effort should be made to weed out the people who are really medically unfit to drive, along with the mentally unfit, including those unfit by attitude. ;)

That;s half the forum gone
