Hi all,
I'm in need of a pair of rear lights for my car. Just standard things as cheap as possible or free, after I just broke both of mine this weekend at drift cup.
Can collect if your in the north west
Thanks
Tom

Hi All,
Looking to purchase an actual baffled sump. Looking at something like the Japspeed sump. I don't want a spacer plate as i cant see the benefit for drifting apart from having more oil capacity.
Thanks

Ebay jobbie. I wasn't prepared to pay the price of ings stuff. Received it and looked good. Took to my painter and he said in fairness for a copy part it wasnt bad. I had to alter the fixing holes slightly but i'm gong to tiger seal it on in the next few weeks

I've owned two mk1's
A fairly rusty 97 mk1 1.6. Rear cills and wheel arches were really bad. Ended up chopping the cill and flat plating and tubbing the rear arches to remove the rust. Then running over fenders and side skirts. Looked good as new.
Immaculate 98 mk1 1.8. This was a billy bargain with no mot and a torn hood for 250. Hood was 120 new and i fitted myself. It flew through its mot and had no rust at all on it and it was a uk car.
Main thing is rear cills rust, wheel arch inside lip and front lower a piller. I've seen a few rusty ones on the A pillar and I wouldn't like to be in one of them if it rolled over.

After my turbo conversion TDI North said they won't be doing another FI 350Z.
I was first and last. Sorry
Did they give a reason why not? I'm considering going to them for a Uprev remap with a nitrous installation.
-
Thanks gents. I thought about half a day would be needed considering the extra time probably required for the nitrous to be dialled into the remap with retarding timings etc.
@ZeppoJeff - Everything has been copper greased before the gear was installed and only been on a few months so it should be ok hopefully..... famous last words.
-
Any idea on how long it took please?
Looking to get a 4 wheel alignment as well so may see if they can do both the same day.

Hi All,
Has anyone used TDI North recently for an Uprev remap? I'm of old as far as TDI North are concerned and i've heard many things throughout the years good and very bad about them.
I'm about to order my plenum spacer and decats ready for the Uprev and plumb in my Nitrous Oxide to make use of the time on the rollers.
So firstly have you used them and the experience you've had? Secondly have you had more work than just a remap with them?
Also no point in pointing me to facebook material by them, i just want honest feedback from people who've had work completed by them. I know their licensed to do it by Abbey but they are too far south.
Last thing i want is to be a week before round 1 Drift Cup and the car breaks on the rollers due to negligence.
Thanks

No manifold or downpipe? Where was you gonna get these from?
-
No, ive run my setup for a year now and works perfectly for how I drive.
Then your not going to want to run low if you want to use all the tyre..... or your gonna buy wisefab with subframe lifters etc.
Even with all the adjustable arms on the market, if your running low, your tyre is never going to make full contact.
-
I run mono pros. As above use these if your need to swap all your suspension components for adjustable arms.
Depends how low you want to run before you run into issues. If you want to run low, swap the rear spring for a shorter spring. I went shorter and harder as I wanted the car to sit lower and be stiffer for initiation and transitions

Don't the oem lock stops unscrew out?
Also never bothered putting my washer/collar (presumably the black Plastic bit) back in. I didn't see the point after swapping out the whole front steering assembly.
-
I've looked at the website for nitrous oxide supplies and they don't do postal shipping now.
RSE used to do it but i can't seem to get in contact with Andy any more. He seems to have gone awol since he moved unit.
Also south wales is too far. I'd rather attempt to dispense myself. Did you ever try yourself?

Hi All,
I don't post a lot on here but does anyone know of a nos refil station in the north west or north wales? Im in the process of completing my NOS installation and want to get my pair of 11lb bottles refilled.
I've tried RSE Motorsport and Demon Tweeks and neither do it. Only other option i can see is for BOC to deliver a bottle to me and i can dispense myself.
Any help appreciated,
Tom

Drivers door
Bonnet hinges
Prefer body panels to be kuro black unless exceptionally cheap.
I'm based in North Wales but i do travel alot, so either post or collection if your along my route.
Many Thanks

Oem and aftermarket crankshafts
in Performance
Posted
Hi all,
its been a while while since I last ventured onto her but I’m in the middle of a fi build on a spare de engine.
the crank which was in the de engine is scored and I’d prefer not to reuse. I’ve been looking at alternatives and an oem from Nissan seems likely although I’ve recently come across an aftermarket crank from zed performance.
has anyone got any experience of this crank please? I can’t find anything online about it being used by anyone. I’ve asked the supplier questions and I’m awaiting feedback but looking to see if anyone here has used them.
Thanks
Thomas
