As many of you know the HKS replica exhausts are known for tarnishing easily in the bad weather due to the poor metal quality. Mines looking worse for wear and I'm hoping to bring some life back into it but not sure where to start? Usually I'd use Brasso or another type of metal polish and that would be sufficient however I think I need more drastic action on this!
I was thinking of maybe wet sanding the metal or using wirewool to really breakdown the top layer of crap and then trying to polish? I really like the exhaust so anything to make it look a bit better would help!
I've had a quote from a company in Nottingham for £75 including return postage which I didn't think was too bad. I'll message The Flock Shop and request a quote, thanks for the info.

Thanks, just checked the first link and that's some serious flocking!
Where does everyone buy the wrap from? So many options on eBay and unsure what's good or not? I've got to redo my window switches as the previous owners job is getting tatty.
I'm looking to get my centre console flocked in the near future but not sure who to use? I've found a couple of businesses in the Midlands but wondered if anyone has a recommendation? I'm always keen to support forum traders but not sure if anyone offers this service?
Any flocked centre console pics would also be nice, only found a couple of Google which weren't great examples.
350Z, Clio and Saab 9-3 Estate and I also nearlly won a 106 Rallye on eBay a couple of weeks ago, I need to control my spending!
I've spent plenty of time on CS, it becomes a useful tool when owning one!
My 182 is currently sat on my parents drive waiting to be sold, I'm gutted to see it go but I can't run 3 cars
I'll get some pics up at the weekend, got a mammouth cleaning session booked in!
So after many years of French car ownership I've now decided to sell my trusty Clio 182 for a 350Z.
I'm now a few days into ownership and already nursing a low bank balance from a heavy right foot however still enjoying it! I'm still getting used to the power delivery as it's seems really strange compared to the revy Clio.
I've got a couple of niggles to sort out with the main one being the passenger window not working. Apart from that a good polish and wax to prepare for the bad weather that has arrived....
It's got a couple of mod's already, spacers, HKS style exhaust and HKS air filter but I've got plenty more lined up
I'll try and get along to some West Mids meets as and when they happen!
