Hi there, Garage charged 3 hours to do all of them (I assisted) even though it took 5!! Pushing the bearings out was not a problem as we had access to a 12 ton bearing press, the problem was loosening off all of the ball joints, bolts & nuts, split pins etc. Defo not a driveway job even though I hear people on the forums saying it is, maybe on a new 350, not a 10 year old one! I browsed the reviews from the states on various vehicles all with positive things to be read. Clark Motorsport - I somewhat agree with you and I was waiting for a Trader to say something tbh, however as with tyres expensive doesn't always mean better. I.e, I dislike Bridgestones RE040 & RE050 which I definately find overpriced considering I have replaced these with tyres almost 50% cheaper and with this came a better ride and higher performance! Below is Prothane's Warranty- ''PROTHANEâ„¢ warranties all it's urethane products to be free of defects in materials and workmanship (not due to abuse, neglect or misapplication) for the total time the vehicle' I can't compare these to SuperPro or Whiteline... but what I can say is that over stock, times better! Car feels so much more responsive giving greater confidence in both cornering and high speed straights. I personally can't see how spending 3 times as much could be more beneficial to me. Pics now back up!!! Did a clean-up of my Photo Bucket account and moved pics around... all sorted!!! I really can't believe how much SuperPro charge for similar poly bushes!!! Now have the confidence in the corners and even on the fast straights the car feels more sturdy A+++

Just did the full set of front poly bushes on mine! I would say a MUST ... Finally got to do the Lower Control Arm and Compression Arm Bushes with Drop Links while there! My God what a difference ... I have never had poly bushes but have always heard that they make a significant different... WOW ... what a difference!!! Upper control arm bushes tomorrow as time ran out! Car feels totally different in the best possible way, bushes were a little squeaky at first but after a little bit of silicon grease it was all sorted... sooooooo happy! Especially for £126 all in for all bushes... would 100% recommend these!

3 weeks in and wow ... I really do love this car!!! Got a full set of Poly Bushes (Upper, Lower & Compression Arms with Anti-Roll Bar bushes too) in possession from the US (Prothane) and just waiting to get fitted as a lower control arm was an advisory on MOT ... in my mind it should have been a fail as I can literally feel the suspension moving laterally under me in a heavy turn :/ ... but this gives me even more to look forward too Will do drop-links also and am very tempted to do front shock absorbers while I am here too!!! Will let you all know how it goes... Brilliant, Brilliant Forum btw

I found this also ... the first 1 inch maybe even more was just 'free-play' on my clutch pedal, felt like I was kneeing myself in the chin before I made both of my adjustments (wife couldn't even drive the car)!!! Adjust the microswitch with a 14mm spaner to loosen the locknut and screw it abit for the desired outcome. This switch also acts as the 'stop' for the clutch pedal

It's me again 3 weeks later after this adjustment .... I went a little too far with the treads and clutch pedal would stick a little before returning to rest position... I had simply adjusted too much (about 5 treads) However it only took a small adjustment (1 tread back in) to make the biting point perfect with a clean return back to rest... Also adjusted the microswich in a little bit so as the stop the pedal from coming up to high... I have mine adjusted so it sits just a little below the brake pedal A+++ Mod ... so much more drivable! Unfortunately the wife now loves it ... urghhhh !!!

Haven't got the chance to do these yet... but they bloody well need doing quite soon! How many hours labour would you say I should be looking at for Upper, Lower and Compression Arm bush replacement? + Drop Links?

Got an advisory with the MOT on purchase, both lower control arms bushes! Was not prepared to spend superpro/oem money so looked at the US market as I have previously done with my RX-8 and Impreza... and thought this deal was worth sharing Took the zed for a proper Norfolk drive when I first brought her home and Stability Control was kicking in where it shouldn't have! The collapsed OEM bushes are dangerous on a hard drive!!! Very Dangerous :/ Can't wait to get these fitted! Got these to do while I am there too ... front Anti-Roll Bar Drop-Links

Just got these from the states... Bushes for Compression Arm, Lower Control Arm, Upper Control Arm, and Anti-Roll Bar. All for £126 including shipping and no tax surprisingly ... Superpro ones would have been about £370! Arrived today and will keep updated on the process of fitment, which I plan to do myself... with the help of local garage to press out old ones. Only bought my 350 a few weeks ago, a 2004 with 43,000... but the handling has since shocked me and with further inspection/searches on this forum, I knew this was the route to take! Let's see how it goes ehh!

Just carried out this adjustment and WOW!!! A+++++ Clutch engages lower down and pedal now sits just below brake pedal... So much better Thanks alot!

Well, it's been a great sunday... Adjusted the clutch pedal as I was almost kneeing myself in the face to pull off!!! Followed some brilliant instructions on here and I've now got shorter travel and a lower biting point Well Chuffed Thanks again for all the welcomes.

It must be my postcode then ... interesting to find out how much rates really do vary!

Well it's my first Sunday and the Norfolk sun is shining .. what to do today?

Loved my Rex... took a while to learn how to drive it, i.e. torque (or lack there of) is very high up the rev range! But it's so light and rev happy, as for the handling... superb! Just needed more power and torque... as for the oil and fuel, 24mpg max (which I never ever saw) and about a litre of oil per 1000 miles. An amazing car but was just time to move on Would love to put that engine and transmission into a Caterham style kit car!

Still considering myself to be young at 29, I was shocked at how cheap my quotes came out on Money Supermarket... £252 Fully Comp with Courtesy Car/Protected NCB and a very small Voluntary Excess!!! And this was all with a few well known companies... Maybe I am getting old! How much do you guys and girls pay? ...

I have read on an EVO or WhatCar article that this was probably one of the best car forums in terms of members and informative post... may the journey begin Well as for me, JAP cars are in my heart and I've always loved a Nissan... leaned to drive on my dads Bluebird and bought a 120Y as my first Car (welded-up diff with a Webber carb and straight through exhaust) I was 17 and I loved it back then! ... past 8 years has been classic Impreza STi, newage Impreza STi and my dearest RX-8 (231) ... Just gonna spend a few hundred and get the wheels refurb'd in a very bright silver and have 25/20 spacers fitted... think that will be it for now, but I really do know how it is! ha ... for £7,700 can't stop saying wow

The torque, power, steering, braking and handling Still smiling My first post on what looks like an amazing owners forum... did a lot of research on here before I bought and read lots of interesting posts. Didn't take long to find what I wanted which was a pre 2006 (horrendous £490 car tax) and wasn't too fussed on the post 2005 uprev engine or pre 2005... Ended up with a Le Mans Sunset 2004 350Z UK GT with Black Leather. Just 43,500 miles and a Full NISSAN service history! Full Milltek Exhaust @ £850 was fitted 6 months ago (previous owner was recommended to do this as was cheaper then OEM NISSAN's)... my God it sounds amazing on throttle open! Already done the following this week... SGS Uprated Tailgate Dampers Modified Tailgate Poppers (2 x polyurethane washer inside) Aero Blade Wipers (front & rear) Had the classic issue of the boot trying to eat me and also having to open it with 2 hands!!! All sorted now Well here are a few pics of it, and I'm Curtis btw ...
