  1. I spotted that too along with somebody selling it on eBay for £70. However, reading some GT-R forums it would appear that the update is coded to your car at the point of purchase and requires the entry of a 16 character key before it installs. When you go to add the 2014/2015 update to your basket on navigation.com they ask for the Unit ID of your nav. Turns out the 2011/2012 version required this but the discs most people have obtained have been "modified". The 2014/2015 firmware update disc works without the key, but the 4 map discs will not install without it. GT-R forum thread here: http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/175447-connect-premium-x9-europe-2012-update-41.html - you may need to go back a few pages.
  2. Actually, following a PM chat, turns out I already have the same version that the DVDs update to: 11-12 MAP No.2 (X1E82001), so somebody else is welcome to them.
  3. Sounds like a plan. I'd be happy for either set once somebody has finished.

    Goodyear Tyres

Small update on the F1s after 3000 miles - they seem much more prone to tram-lining than the Bridgestones. Anyone else find this?
  5. Am back from my hols now, so would be grateful for a set when one is free.
  6. Having covered 2800 miles round France in my Zed over the past fortnight with extensive use of the nav, I can confirm these "quirks". Typically, they always appear when you need it most, such as on a roundabout or approaching motorway exits. It also seems to "update" the route quite often, with the yellow one-screen route completely disappearing until it's recalculated. However, one thing I can definitely confirm is that it really doesn't help if you store one of those reflective sheets for windscreens across the boot. Seems to block the antenna almost completely!!!
  7. French Autoroute from Grenoble to Reims last week. 365 miles with the cruise set most of the way between 78 and 84mph gave us 33 MPG. Can't complain at that at all.
  8. Just spent 2 weeks driving round France in the Zed and it received looks wherever we went. One morning we noticed numerous people leaving hotel stopping to look all around it, and in one case take photos. Even after two weeks where the black had become a browny grey it still turned heads.
  9. Yep, mine does this. In fact last night the last two LEDs failed to illuminate after filling up but come the morning it was back to the usual one.

    Goodyear Tyres

Just fitted a pair of Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2s (275/35/R19 96Y) onto the rear of my Zed on Saturday. I've had them on my past 3 cars and always performed brilliantly. They were around £200 each from Black Circles. I've done around 250 miles so far and first impressions are very good. The biggest difference I've spotted so far is noise - they are MUCH quieter than the Bridgestone Potenza RE050s. In fact I'd love to get the fronts replaced with F1s now too.
  11. New member with a 40th Anniversary 370Z here. Currently have 11-12 MAP No.2 (X1E82001) on my Connect Premium but off driving round France for 2 weeks in the next month so an update to 12-13 would be really handy. Is there a set of discs available? Thanks.
  12. Just thought I'd say HELLO! Been lurking on this forum for a year or two but only joined and signed up today. Picked up a 60-plate 370Z Black Edition at the end of March and am well chuffed so far! Looking forward to finding plenty of hints and tips on these pages.
