I personally don't like them and feel they are very expensive for the amount of track time you get. I had a Lambo day bought for me a few years ago, I was told not to rev the car past 5K and basically kept on being told to slow down.
Personally I much prefer trackdays. I've done many over the years and 2 recently in the Z. Track time is pretty much unlimited on an open pit lane so its good value. Tyres last as long as you treat them! And for newbies to the track world there is normally tuition that can be arranged, sometimes its free.
Thats just my point of view.

Might have been me! I wave at alot of Z's though. My wheels are shadow chrome but do look black in some light.

I hate Saab's, glad they went down the pan. Just an over price Vauxhall...... Sorry if that offends anyone!

I recognise the location! Portsdown Hill!

At 1500 miles a month you should only consider a 350z as a second car. I mean, what fun would it be driving at 60mph in 6th while concentrating hard to avoid using brakes on the same road day after day and still getting 30mpg, if that? 18000 miles year in a 350z is ~£4k in petrol assuming driving it like a granny to work and giving it some at the weekend, plus servicing 2 times more often than normal (9k service intervals).
P.S. If you get more than 25mpg out of a zed, you might as well drive a fabia vrs.
Haha that bloody Fabia has been brought up again! Im with you on this one, it just wouldnt feel right in the Z. I use mine for work but my round trip is only 14miles per day.
With regards to the mpg, I usually get around about 23mpg, which consists of granny driving when its busy and much more spirited driving on exciting quiet roads.

Hi Mike, I'm David the guy with the silver HR! You got the right website! It's really helpful on here...
Anyway it was my first trackday in my Z. Normally I drive a Radical. I was very impressed with car on the circuit. Castle Combe has always been one of my favourites to drive.
So I was running EBC YellowStuff pads all around. I wasn't very impressed with them to be honest.... They seemed to lack the bit that I normally felt during road driving.
I've not heard great things about the Toyos for trackdays. I was running Goodyear eagle F1's. Very impressed with these on and off the track. Once I got the pressures balanced they performed perfectly.
I had to turn the traction control off because it was so restrictive coming out of corners and the ESP would apply the front brakes when drifting into the chicanes!
Anyway it was good to see another Z, normally I see a couple at different circuits. I've not heard anymore about your clutch issue. Like I said mine was perfectly fine and I was giving the car a good hammering.

Can the fuel affect the DE and HR in different ways? I always thought it was bad for both....

Anyone know a good place in Hampshire/West Sussex/Surrey?

Junction 17 are full of crap. Don't trust them. I bought my Z from them 3 months ago, I hate them and will never shop with them again!

A pad spreader tool is also very handy!

Actually try this first! Check your rear wheel bolts are TIGHT!
Yesterday I was driving along and thought my Z a caught the dreaded clicking axle syndrome. So I went to do this quick grease trick but first went to loosen up my wheels....... to find they were already loose! So I tightened them up and went for a test drive, perfect!
I really should tell the garage that recently fitted my new tyres.

Nice! I looked at this car in the Chichester garage a couple of months ago, they also had and orange one too. I'm based in Hampshire and picked up my first Z 3 weeks ago. Do you know of any Z specialist in the Hampshire/West Sussex area for servicing etc?
